5 min readTo make crypto CFD pricing more transparent and aligned with industry standards, PrimeXBT will transition PXTrader and MT5 to an all-in spread model from 3 September. This update removes separate commissions, ensuring a unified and transparent cost structure for all clients.
Shift to spreads only, no commission
Until now, crypto CFDs on PXTrader and MT5 included both a spread and a commission. From 3 September, commissions will no longer apply – instead, all costs will be reflected in the spread. This brings crypto CFDs in line with how non-crypto CFDs are already priced on our platforms.
For most instruments, the total cost of trading will remain the same or become more competitive, particularly for BTC and ETH, where spreads will be adjusted. More details on the updated spread levels will be shared after the transition. For altcoins, the adjustment means that all costs are built into a single, transparent spread, making it easier to understand transaction costs at a glance.

Does this change apply to all instruments?
Only to crypto CFDs on PXTrader and MT5. Crypto Futures and MT5 Pro accounts are not impacted.
