Gold remains highly volatile within the risk asset class, currently trading just below $2,700.00.
A closer analysis of the technicals reveals a clear shift to the downside on the daily timeframe. This movement occurred near the internal ascending trend line, indicating the possibility of a “fake-out.” I will continue to monitor the current price action closely for any indications of the next potential direction. At present, the RSI indicator does not show any signs of the price being “overbought” or “oversold.”
