PrimeXBT has launched swap-free accounts for MetaTrader 5 (MT5), giving traders more choice and flexibility. Whether you’re opening a new account or adjusting your current one, you now have full control over how your fees are handled.
What are swap-free accounts?
Swap-free accounts are trading accounts that don’t charge financing fees (also called “swaps”). Instead, a fixed administrative fee per lot is applied. This option can be especially appealing for those who prefer to avoid interest-based charges due to personal or religious reasons. Most active traders can also benefit from Extended Swap-Free accounts.

There are two types available:
- Standard Swap-Free: Administrative fees apply daily in place of swaps.
- Extended Swap-Free: For active traders, fees are waived for the first 3 days of most instruments.
Who can use it?
- New clients: Choose between regular and swap-free when opening a new MT5 account.
- Existing clients: Enable or disable swap-free directly in your MT5 account settings.
This feature is available across all instruments on MT5, but note that some instruments with high interest rate volatility are excluded from the Extended Swap-Free option.
