Axe Compute has signed over $1.3 billion in multi-year AI infrastructure contracts, clearing its $1 billion target for 2026 before the year was halfway done. The deals deploy more than 9,200 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, and management expects an additional $2 billion in potential contracts before the year closes out.
Axe Compute Inc. (NASDAQ: AGPU) announced on July 22 that it had secured over $1.3 billion in multi-year contracts through its Axe Compute Build program, anchored by a single five-year agreement worth $1.5 billion. The company’s original goal was $1 billion in signed contracts for 2026, a target it overshot before the year was even halfway done.
Management now expects an additional $2 billion in potential contracts before the year closes out. If that pipeline is realized, total contract value for the year would land well north of $3 billion.
What the contracts deploy
The contracts center on dedicated GPU clusters running Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, with over 9,200 GPUs aimed at AI training, inference, and related workloads. Axe Compute has partnered with Aethir to tap a distributed GPU network that can spin up capacity in as little as 48 hours.
This is not the company’s first Blackwell deployment. Back in April 2026, Axe Compute locked down a $260 million three-year enterprise deal that involved deploying 2,304 Nvidia B300 GPUs.
The revenue math behind the deals
Expected annual recurring revenue from the newly announced contracts exceeds $384 million, with revenue recognition starting in late Q4 2026. The $1.5 billion flagship contract alone, spread over five years, implies roughly $300 million per year in revenue from a single customer.
Aethir adds a crypto-adjacent wrinkle to the arrangement. The company operates a decentralized GPU computing network, and its ATH token trades actively across major exchanges. Growth in Axe Compute’s business could directionally benefit the Aethir ecosystem and its associated token, though the relationship is partnership-based rather than a financial dependency.
The risks management names
Scaling this quickly carries real risks, management has acknowledged. Supply chain challenges remain a concern, particularly around GPU procurement and data center capacity.
For investors watching the AGPU ticker on the Nasdaq, the metrics to track from here are contract conversion rates, actual deployment timelines, and whether that $384 million in annual recurring revenue materializes on schedule in Q4.
