We were proud to sponsor the Theo Wassenaar Primary School soccer tournament in Johannesburg, South Africa, helping celebrate young talent while contributing to one of the school’s biggest community fundraising events.
Held on 1 August, the annual tournament brought together players, families, teachers, and supporters for a day of football, teamwork, and community spirit.
A tournament that unites the community
The Theo Wassenaar Primary School soccer tournament is more than a sporting event. As an important community fundraiser, it encourages young people to stay active, develop teamwork, and enjoy healthy competition.
Around 30 teams competed across junior and senior age groups, showcasing young talent from across the local community, while hundreds of family members and supporters gathered to cheer them on.
Celebrating the winners
As part of our commitment to giving back, PrimeXBT sponsored food and prizes for the tournament winners.
Winning teams received medals, while the senior champions were also awarded cash prizes in recognition of their achievements. In total, around 45 young athletes were recognised across the winning teams.
Investing in future generations
This tournament builds on PrimeXBT’s ongoing partnership with Theo Wassenaar Primary School. Following our previous support for the school’s educational initiatives, we are proud to continue investing in projects that create opportunities for students and benefit the wider community.
