COTI trades near $0.011 in late October 2026, about 98% below its September 2021 peak of $0.67 and roughly 55% above the multi-year low near $0.0072 it hit in late July. COTI is the native token of a privacy network that runs on Garbled Circuits, a form of encrypted computation: having started in 2019 as a payments blockchain, it now operates as an EVM-compatible privacy layer tied to Ethereum, and the token pays fees, secures the network through staking and carries governance votes. This page sets out PrimeXBT’s COTI price prediction through 2030 and out to 2050, the chart levels in play and the supply rules behind them. The coin’s 2026 has been a series of sharp spikes on product news, each one given back within weeks.
COTI outlook at a glance
- 2026 base case: $0.0083–$0.0127 for the rest of the year, with an average near $0.0109, as COTI trades below its 200-day average.
- Main bullish catalyst: a fixed maximum supply with no new minting since March 2026, plus a pledge to burn at least 100 million tokens and fee burns tied to privacy services on other chains.
- Biggest downside risk: thin on-chain usage, with DeFi deposits on the COTI network down to tens of thousands of dollars, and a break below support at $0.0103.
- Long-term view: a slow climb toward $0.015 by 2029, with figures beyond 2030 useful only as a direction of travel.

COTI price prediction 2026–2030 (yearly forecast)
PrimeXBT’s yearly COTI ranges are taken from the month-by-month path in the sections below. Published models for the same period stretch from half a cent to more than nine cents per coin, so they sit in the analyst comparison rather than inside these figures.
| Year | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | $0.0083 | $0.0109 | $0.0127 |
| 2027 | $0.0064 | $0.0111 | $0.0173 |
| 2028 | $0.0066 | $0.0130 | $0.0202 |
| 2029 | $0.0077 | $0.0147 | $0.0217 |
| 2030 | $0.0080 | $0.0147 | $0.0217 |
The path rises slowly and flattens after 2029. Two forces pull against each other. Supply is fixed: since March 2026 no new COTI is minted, and part of the fees from privacy services is burned. Demand is the open question. Deposits in DeFi applications on the COTI network fell from about $1.35 million in January 2026 to under $80,000 in October, according to DefiLlama, so the burn mechanics have little activity to work with yet. The ranges assume usage of COTI’s privacy tools on other chains slowly makes up the difference. With a one-year realized volatility above 130% (a PrimeXBT calculation on daily closes), the bands are wide on purpose.
COTI price prediction 2026
PrimeXBT’s outlook for the rest of 2026 places COTI between $0.0083 and $0.0127, with an average near $0.0109. That assumes the coin holds above its July low but stays under the 200-day average near $0.0124, with two Federal Reserve meetings still ahead after September’s rate rise.
| Month (2026) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| October | $0.0101 | $0.0112 | $0.0123 |
| November | $0.0091 | $0.0109 | $0.0126 |
| December | $0.0083 | $0.0105 | $0.0127 |
A daily close above $0.0147, the early-October high, would put the 50-day average near $0.0149 back within reach. A close below $0.0103 would erase the October base and open the way to the $0.0092–$0.0099 area.
COTI price prediction 2027
For 2027, the outlook sees COTI between $0.0064 and $0.0173, with an average near $0.0111. The first quarter covers the end of the 12-month window in which the COTI Foundation pledged to burn at least 100 million tokens, about 3% of supply. Whether that burn happens, and can be verified on-chain, shapes the top half of the range.
| Month (2027) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |

| October | $0.0064 | $0.0116 | $0.0168 |
| November | $0.0065 | $0.0118 | $0.0170 |
| December | $0.0066 | $0.0119 | $0.0173 |
COTI price prediction 2028
The 2028 range runs from $0.0066 to $0.0202, with an average near $0.0130. The step up assumes Privacy-on-Demand, the product that brings COTI’s encrypted computation to other blockchains, starts producing fees that can be burned.
| Month (2028) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | $0.0066 | $0.0121 | $0.0175 |
| February | $0.0067 | $0.0122 | $0.0178 |

| December | $0.0077 | $0.0139 | $0.0202 |
COTI price prediction 2029
2029 holds the high point of the path, at a monthly average near $0.0150 in July, for a yearly range of $0.0077–$0.0217 and an average near $0.0147. Even the top of that band would leave COTI more than 95% below its 2021 record.
| Month (2029) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | $0.0077 | $0.0141 | $0.0204 |

COTI price prediction 2030
PrimeXBT’s 2030 outlook spans $0.0080 to $0.0217, with an average near $0.0147. The path dips slightly in mid-year and recovers by December, a shape that comes from the model rather than from any dated event.
| Month (2030) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | $0.0081 | $0.0147 | $0.0214 |
| February | $0.0081 | $0.0147 | $0.0213 |

COTI long-term price prediction: 2035, 2040–2050
A token that has rebuilt its chain and rewritten its supply rules twice in two years gives a long-range model little to stand on. The figures below extend the 2030 path at a slowing growth rate and should be read as an order of magnitude, not a target.
| Year | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2035 | $0.0101 | $0.0184 | $0.0267 |
| 2040 | $0.0123 | $0.0224 | $0.0324 |
| 2050 | $0.0165 | $0.0301 | $0.0436 |
What analysts and models say (compared)
The published COTI models disagree on direction, not only on size. CoinCodex sees the price halving by 2030; CoinDataFlow sees it rising several times over. No bank or fund has published a COTI target, so every figure in the table is algorithmic.
| Source | Method | COTI view |
|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (Oct 20, 2026) | Algorithmic | $0.0100 at end-2026; $0.0050 by 2030; $0.0197 by 2040 |
| CoinDataFlow (Oct 20, 2026) | Algorithmic | $0.0062–$0.0110 for 2026; 2030 average $0.0653 |
| PricePredictions.com (Oct 16, 2026) | Algorithmic scenario bands | 2027 mid case $0.0096; 2030 mid case $0.0176 |
CoinCodex extends the coin’s 2025–2026 slide and projects end-of-2027 levels near $0.0048. CoinDataFlow ties its path to Bitcoin’s four-year cycle and peaks in 2029 at an average near $0.097. PricePredictions.com sits between them. One older forecast that still ranks in search, a 2024-built model projecting a 2026 average near $0.29, was left out: it starts from a price more than 25 times today’s.

COTI technical analysis
At the time of writing, COTI trades below both of its main moving averages: the 50-day simple moving average near $0.0149 and the 200-day near $0.0124. The 50-day still sits above the 200-day, a leftover of the July and September rallies, but the price has fallen through both. The 14-day RSI reads about 38, weak but not oversold.
The nearest support is the October 18 low at $0.0103, then the $0.0092–$0.0099 band. Below that sits the late-July low near $0.0072, the lowest price since late 2019. Resistance starts at the 200-day average near $0.0124, then $0.0147, the early-October high, which sits just under the 50-day average. The September 17 high near $0.0263 marks the top of the year’s second spike.
Both 2026 rallies ran the same course. From the July 20 low, COTI almost tripled to an intraday high near $0.0203 on July 30; reports at the time linked the move to the privacy narrative and a short squeeze. On September 17, the day after the Avalanche launch, the coin closed up about 47%. Since then it has lost roughly 57% (PrimeXBT calculations on daily data).
COTI correlation with other assets
COTI’s own news has moved it more than the market has. Over the past year, its weekly returns showed only a loose positive link with Ethereum and Bitcoin, a weaker one with the Nasdaq Composite, none with gold and a modest inverse link with the US dollar index. Both large rallies of 2026 came while Bitcoin was roughly flat, and since the September 17 peak COTI has lost more than half its value while Bitcoin gained about 8%. Over 12 months, COTI is down about 67% against Bitcoin’s 25%.
For traders, that cuts both ways. A Bitcoin recovery does not guarantee a COTI rally, and a Bitcoin slump has not always dragged COTI down with it. The relationship is loose enough to change from one quarter to the next.
COTI fundamental factors
COTI has changed shape twice. It launched in 2019 as a payments network with its own ledger, then migrated in 2025 to COTI V2, an EVM-compatible network built for private computation and linked to Ethereum. The original V1 chain was scheduled to shut down by the end of the third quarter of 2026. The foundation said it would announce the final retirement date at least 30 days ahead, and no confirmation of the shutdown had appeared by the time of writing. COTI held as an ERC-20 token or on major exchanges needs no action.
Its technology is Garbled Circuits, a cryptographic method that lets a network compute on encrypted data and return an encrypted result that only the user can read. Unlike older privacy coins, which hide transactions on their own chains, COTI sells privacy as a service to other networks, and it claims its implementation runs 3,000 times faster than comparable alternatives. On September 16, 2026, COTI launched Privacy-on-Demand on Avalanche, with private AVAX and USDC transfers and fees paid in AVAX, though parts of the documentation still referred to Avalanche’s test network. In October, Soda Labs, the firm behind much of COTI’s privacy technology, raised a $3 million seed round from NextBlock and said its systems had processed more than 100 million transactions on COTI.
The supply rules changed on March 23, 2026. The foundation fixed the maximum supply, ended new minting and committed to burning at least 100 million COTI within 12 months. Half of the fees from privacy bridges and Privacy-on-Demand services are to be burned, and gas fees from private transactions on COTI V2 go to a community-controlled wallet. About 3 billion COTI circulate out of a maximum of 4.91 billion, giving a market capitalization near $33 million. No public record of a completed 100 million burn was found at the time of writing.
The weak spot is usage. DefiLlama data show DeFi deposits on the COTI network at under $80,000, down about 94% since January 2026. Macro offers no relief either: the Federal Reserve raised its target range by a quarter point to 3.75–4.00% on September 16, 2026, a headwind for small-cap tokens that depend on risk appetite.
Upcoming COTI catalysts
Only confirmed, dated events are listed. COTI’s own milestones without a published date are marked as such.
| Date | Event | Potential impact |
|---|---|---|
| October 27–28, 2026 | FOMC meeting | A second rate rise would add pressure on small-cap crypto; a hold would ease it |
| December 8–9, 2026 | FOMC meeting (with economic projections) | Sets the rate outlook for 2027 |
| By March 2027 | End of the 12-month window for the pledged burn of at least 100 million COTI | A verified burn would cut supply by about 3%; a missed pledge would hurt credibility |
| Date not announced | Final retirement of the COTI V1 chain | Closes the migration; mainly technical for holders on exchanges |
| 2026, no date given | Nodes V2 rollout to community-run nodes (roadmap item) | Wider staking participation if delivered |
FOMC dates follow the Federal Reserve’s published 2026 schedule.
COTI bull case vs bear case
Bull case:
- Privacy-on-Demand gains users on Avalanche and other chains, producing fees that are partly burned.
- The foundation completes the 100 million burn on a public address.
- Institutional privacy demand grows, as Soda Labs’ funding round and its bank and payment-firm plans suggest.
- Another privacy rotation in crypto lifts small-cap privacy tokens, as in July 2026.
Bear case:
- On-chain activity on COTI stays near zero, leaving the burn mechanics with little to burn.
- The Fed keeps raising rates, draining demand for low-liquidity tokens.
- Rallies keep fading within weeks, as both 2026 spikes did.
- The V1 retirement slips again, keeping part of the holder base on a chain that is meant to close.
Invalidation levels. The bull case loses its footing if COTI settles below $0.0103, the October 18 low, which sits about 8% under the current price. The bear case is invalidated by a sustained move above $0.0147, which would also reclaim the 50-day average near $0.0149, roughly a third above spot.
COTI historical performance
COTI peaked at $0.67 in September 2021 and has lost about 98% since. Year by year, it fell about 85% in 2022, gained 30% in 2023 and 69% in 2024, then dropped about 82% in 2025 and another 46% so far in 2026 (PrimeXBT calculations on year-end closes). The late-July 2026 low was the lowest price since late 2019, months after the token first listed.
Is COTI a good investment in 2026?
COTI’s case rests on technology and supply rules, while the price chart shows little of either so far. On one side: a fixed supply, a pledged 100 million burn, a live privacy product on Avalanche and a technology partner that has just raised funding. On the other: a 67% loss over 12 months, DeFi deposits near zero and rallies that have faded within weeks. PrimeXBT’s outlook sees the price roughly flat into year-end. How to weigh those factors depends on each reader’s own analysis and risk tolerance, and this page does not make a recommendation.
How to trade COTI on PrimeXBT
COTI does not have a price-chart page on PrimeXBT, but the COTI/USDT pair is listed among PrimeXBT’s crypto futures. A futures position tracks the price without holding the token itself, so there is no staking, governance vote or wallet involved. Traders can open a long position if they expect the price to rise or a short position if they expect it to fall; the guide to crypto futures trading covers the mechanics. Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike, and a coin that moved 47% in a single day can trigger a stop-loss quickly. Trade on your own analysis and risk tolerance, and never risk more than you can afford to lose.
Trading involves risk.
How we build this forecast
This outlook comes from PrimeXBT’s analysts rather than from a single price feed. We start from COTI’s current price and its position against the 50- and 200-day averages and the support and resistance levels on the chart. We then weigh the supply rules, the burn commitments and the actual use of COTI’s privacy tools, and set all of it against US interest rates and appetite for small-cap crypto. Because COTI swings harder than most coins, the ranges are wider than in our forecasts for larger assets, and the long-range figures show a direction rather than a destination.
None of this is a guarantee. A single announcement has moved COTI by nearly half in a day, and the forecast can be overtaken just as fast. We review and update the outlook every month as new data arrives.
How much will COTI be worth in 2026?
PrimeXBT's outlook places COTI between $0.0083 and $0.0127 for the rest of 2026, with an average near $0.0109. The range assumes the coin holds above its July low while trading below its 200-day average near $0.0124.
How much will COTI be worth in 2030?
The 2030 outlook spans $0.0080 to $0.0217, with an average near $0.0147. It assumes the fixed supply and fee burns slowly offset the weak on-chain activity seen in 2026.
What will COTI be worth in five years?
Five years out, the outlook points to roughly $0.0080 to $0.0217, the 2030 band, with a 2035 average near $0.0184. Figures this far ahead describe a direction rather than a target.
Can COTI reach $0.10?
Not within PrimeXBT's outlook, which tops out near $0.0217 in 2029 and 2030. With about 3 billion COTI in circulation, $0.10 per coin implies a market capitalization near $300 million, about nine times the current level. COTI last traded above $0.10 in January 2025.
Is COTI a good investment in 2026?
The outlook sees COTI roughly flat into year-end. A fixed supply, a pledged burn of 100 million tokens and a live privacy product on Avalanche sit on one side; a 67% loss over 12 months and DeFi deposits under $80,000 on the network sit on the other. How to weigh those factors depends on each reader's own analysis and risk tolerance, and this page does not make a recommendation.
What will the COTI price be tomorrow?
This page is updated monthly and does not publish daily forecasts. The live chart shows the current price. For the near term, support at $0.0103 and resistance near $0.0124 and $0.0147 are the levels in focus.
What happened to the COTI V1 network?
COTI moved to its V2 network in 2025, and the original V1 chain was scheduled to shut down by the end of the third quarter of 2026. The foundation said it would announce the final date at least 30 days in advance. COTI held on major exchanges or as an ERC-20 token needs no migration.
