Sei (SEI) Price Prediction 2026, 2027–2030

Sei (SEI) trades near $0.067 in mid-October 2026, about 74% above its August low but still roughly 94% under its March 2024 record of $1.14. Sei is a Layer 1 blockchain compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) that processes transactions in parallel rather than one by one. This page sets out PrimeXBT’s Sei crypto price prediction through 2030 and out to 2050, the chart levels left behind by the September breakout, and the supply and macro events that sit on the calendar. SEI spent most of 2026 falling while its developers rebuilt the chain, so the ranges below ask a narrow question: can a faster network lift a token that keeps adding supply every month?

Sei outlook at a glance

  • 2026 base case: $0.060–$0.076 for the rest of the year, with the average close to $0.068 as SEI holds part of its September rally.
  • Main bullish catalyst: the Giga upgrade path turning raw speed into on-chain activity, with a US spot SEI ETF as a further option if the SEC lets one go live.
  • Biggest downside risk: monthly token unlocks and another Fed hike pushing SEI back under the $0.054–$0.058 moving-average zone, with the August low near $0.039 below it.
  • Long-term view: a slow climb toward roughly $0.10 by 2029, far below the 2024 peak, with anything beyond 2030 useful only as a direction.

Sei price prediction 2026–2030 (yearly forecast)

PrimeXBT’s yearly SEI ranges come straight from the month-by-month path in the sections below. Third-party models disagree on the direction for 2026, let alone the size of the move, so they are listed separately in the analyst section.

Year Minimum Average Maximum
2026 $0.0599 $0.0675 $0.0761
2027 $0.0590 $0.0767 $0.1070
2028 $0.0584 $0.0898 $0.1299
2029 $0.0634 $0.1021 $0.1418
2030 $0.0637 $0.1003 $0.1390

The path is deliberately modest. Sei shipped the first two parts of its Giga upgrade in August 2026, yet the token still fell to a record low that month, which shows how little network upgrades have moved the price so far. The outlook needs usage, not just capacity, before it lets SEI climb faster than new supply arrives.

Sei price prediction 2026

PrimeXBT’s outlook for the rest of 2026 puts SEI between $0.0599 and $0.0761, with an average near $0.0675. The range assumes SEI holds above its 200-day moving average through the October and December Fed meetings.

Month (2026) Minimum Average Maximum
October $0.0604 $0.0671 $0.0738
November $0.0608 $0.0675 $0.0743
December $0.0599 $0.0680 $0.0761

A daily close above about $0.079, the late-September closing high, would put $0.086, the September 28 intraday peak, back in play. The lower edge of the band reflects a retest of the 50-day average, which buyers defended on October 15.

Sei price prediction 2027

The 2027 outlook spans $0.0590–$0.1070, with an average of about $0.0767. The floor barely moves through the year while the ceiling rises, reflecting two possible outcomes: unlocks keep absorbing demand, or the post-Giga network starts drawing real volume.

Month (2027) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.0596 $0.0694 $0.0793
February $0.0595 $0.0709 $0.0823

November $0.0591 $0.0820 $0.1049
December $0.0590 $0.0830 $0.1070

Sei price prediction 2028

For 2028 the range runs $0.0584–$0.1299 and averages near $0.0898. Breaking above $0.10 in this window depends on Sei’s next upgrade phase, the Autobahn consensus layer, which has no published date yet.

Month (2028) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.0589 $0.0840 $0.1091
February $0.0588 $0.0850 $0.1112
March $0.0587 $0.0860 $0.1133
April $0.0586 $0.0870 $0.1154
May $0.0585 $0.0880 $0.1175
June $0.0584 $0.0890 $0.1196
July $0.0585 $0.0900 $0.1215
August $0.0593 $0.0912 $0.1232
September $0.0601 $0.0925 $0.1249
October $0.0609 $0.0938 $0.1266
November $0.0617 $0.0950 $0.1282
December $0.0626 $0.0962 $0.1299

Sei price prediction 2029

2029 holds the high point of this outlook. Monthly averages peak at about $0.105 in July, giving a full-year range of $0.0634–$0.1418 and an average of $0.1021. Even the top of that band leaves SEI about 88% below its 2024 record.

Month (2029) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.0634 $0.0975 $0.1316
February $0.0642 $0.0987 $0.1333
March $0.0650 $0.1000 $0.1350
April $0.0658 $0.1012 $0.1367
May $0.0666 $0.1025 $0.1384
June $0.0674 $0.1037 $0.1401
July $0.0683 $0.1050 $0.1418
August $0.0679 $0.1044 $0.1410
September $0.0675 $0.1038 $0.1402
October $0.0671 $0.1032 $0.1394
November $0.0667 $0.1027 $0.1386
December $0.0664 $0.1021 $0.1378

Sei price prediction 2030

The 2030 view covers $0.0637–$0.1390, averaging around $0.1003, after a mid-year dip and a recovery into December. Five years out, the monthly rows show a direction rather than precise levels, and one regulatory decision or exchange delisting could shift the whole line.

Month (2030) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.0660 $0.1015 $0.1370
February $0.0656 $0.1009 $0.1362
March $0.0652 $0.1003 $0.1355
April $0.0648 $0.0998 $0.1347
May $0.0645 $0.0992 $0.1339
June $0.0641 $0.0986 $0.1331
July $0.0637 $0.0980 $0.1323
August $0.0643 $0.0990 $0.1336
September $0.0650 $0.1000 $0.1350
October $0.0657 $0.1010 $0.1364
November $0.0663 $0.1020 $0.1377
December $0.0669 $0.1030 $0.1390

Sei long-term price prediction: 2035, 2040–2050

Nobody knows which Layer 1 chains will still matter in the 2040s, and Sei has only three years of trading history. The figures below extend the early-2030s path at a growth rate that slows each decade, so they show a direction more than a price level.

Year Minimum Average Maximum
2035 $0.0848 $0.1305 $0.1762
2040 $0.1032 $0.1588 $0.2143
2050 $0.1387 $0.2134 $0.2880

On this path SEI would still trade far below $1 in 2050. A return to the 2024 record would need Sei to become a default settlement layer for trading or payments, and nothing in the current data points that way.

What analysts and models say (compared)

Research for this update found no 2026 SEI price target from a bank or a large crypto fund. That leaves algorithmic models and one AI-based scenario, and they point in opposite directions for the next few months.

Source Method Sei view
CoinCodex (16 Oct 2026) Algorithmic End-2026 $0.0476; 2030 $0.1207; 2040 $0.2721; 2050 $0.8315
Kryptovergleich (28 Sep 2026) AI model End-2026 range $0.091–$0.165, central value $0.122
TradersUnion (snapshot date not shown) Statistical model End-2026 $0.1263–$0.1315; 2030 roughly $0.054–$0.059
Coinbase price tool (Oct 2026) User-input calculator, 5% a year default About $0.08 in 2027 and $0.09 in 2030

CoinCodex expects SEI to give back its September gains and end 2026 near $0.048, while Kryptovergleich’s model, run when SEI traded at $0.083, sees it nearly doubling. The gap comes from timing: each model extrapolates whatever the most recent candles were doing when it ran. PrimeXBT’s year-end range sits between the two, because the September rally came on heavy volume but no identifiable news.

Track record of this forecast

This is PrimeXBT’s first published price forecast for Sei. From the next monthly review onward, this section will compare the previous forecast with SEI’s actual price on the update date and explain any miss rather than smoothing it over.

Sei technical analysis

As of October 16, 2026, SEI trades at about $0.067, just below its 20-day average near $0.070 and above both the 50-day (about $0.058) and 200-day (about $0.054) simple moving averages. On daily closes the 50-day crossed above the 200-day on October 6, a golden cross and the first since July 2025. The 50-day had stayed below the 200-day since the end of October 2025. The 14-day RSI sits in the high 40s to mid 50s depending on the data feed, neutral after reading 76 at the end of September.

Overhead, the first resistance is $0.074–$0.079, the early-October and late-September closing highs. Above that sits $0.086, the September 28 intraday peak where the rally stalled, then $0.095, a level chart analysts flagged as the next target. The first support is the $0.054–$0.058 band formed by the two long averages, which SEI touched intraday on October 15. A daily close below it would put the August low near $0.039 back in view.

Correlation with other assets

Over the past year SEI has tracked Sui more closely than any other asset tested, followed by Solana, Bitcoin and Ethereum, based on weekly returns. All three chains sell themselves on speed, so traders tend to buy and sell them together. The Nasdaq Composite shows a moderate link, gold shows almost none, and the US dollar index has a faint inverse pull that is too weak to trade on. What sets SEI apart is how much harder it falls than Bitcoin when the market turns: it lost about 69% over the last 12 months, according to CoinGecko, while Bitcoin fell about 24% on Yahoo Finance daily closes. Twelve months of data is a short sample, and these relationships can change quickly when traders rotate between sectors.

Fundamental factors

SEI began trading in August 2023. The network started with both Cosmos and EVM environments and is now dropping the Cosmos side. Under the SIP-3 proposal, new CosmWasm deployments ended on May 1, 2026, and exchanges and custodians had until June 15, 2026, to move their integrations before native Cosmos transactions were deprecated. Once the transition is complete, Sei will run as an EVM-only chain.

The Giga upgrade is the technical bet. Mainnet version 6.6 went live in early August 2026 with two of its components: Ares, a new execution engine built on evmone, and Eidos, a storage engine that moves historical EVM data out of the live database. The third piece, the Autobahn consensus layer, has no date. Giga’s stated targets are 200,000 transactions per second and block finality under 250 milliseconds, and so far no production benchmark has confirmed either figure.

Supply is the counterweight. Total supply is 10 billion SEI, and trackers put the circulating figure anywhere from about 6.7 billion (CoinGecko) to 7.7 billion (CoinMarketCap), giving a market capitalization of roughly $450–$515 million. Unlock trackers list releases on the 15th of each month, and the next one, to the ecosystem reserve, falls on November 15, 2026.

Institutional access is still pending. Canary Capital filed for a staked SEI ETF in April 2025 and amended its registration again on September 15, 2026, but it has not given a launch date, and 21Shares has a separate application on file. Adoption signals are smaller but concrete: Kraken added USDC and USDT0 deposits and withdrawals on Sei in March 2026, and Sei published joint research on institutional blockchain adoption with Mastercard in August.

Macro adds pressure. The Federal Reserve raised its target range to 3.75%–4.00% on September 16, 2026, its first hike since 2023. Tighter money hits small, high-volatility tokens first, and SEI’s realized annual volatility runs close to 80%.

Upcoming catalysts

Only confirmed, dated events are listed. Two Fed meetings and the next scheduled unlock fall within the coming two months.

Date Event Potential impact
October 27–28, 2026 FOMC meeting A second hike would weigh on high-beta tokens; a pause would ease the pressure
November 15, 2026 Scheduled SEI unlock to the ecosystem reserve Adds circulating supply; bearish if the tokens reach the market quickly
December 8–9, 2026 FOMC meeting with economic projections Sets the 2027 rate path that shapes risk appetite

FOMC dates follow the Federal Reserve’s published 2026 schedule. The Canary staked SEI ETF and the Autobahn upgrade are left out because neither has a confirmed date.

Bull case vs bear case

Bull case:

  • The golden cross holds and SEI clears $0.086, the September high, with volume similar to the late-September breakout.
  • Giga’s new execution and storage engines draw trading apps that turn higher throughput into fee-paying activity.
  • The SEC lets a spot SEI ETF go live, opening a regulated route for US investors.
  • The Fed pauses after one or two hikes, reviving demand for small-cap tokens.

Bear case:

  • Monthly unlocks keep adding supply faster than new demand absorbs it.
  • Further rate hikes push speculative money out of tokens with near-80% volatility.
  • The September rally, which had no clear catalyst, fades the way the May bounce did.
  • Rival high-speed chains such as Sui and Solana keep the developers and liquidity that Sei is chasing.

Invalidation levels. The bull case breaks down if SEI closes a day below $0.054, the bottom of the moving-average band, which would undo the October cross. The bear case loses its grip on a sustained move above $0.079, and more decisively above $0.086.

Historical performance

SEI has posted only one up year. Measured from its first daily close in August 2023, it gained about 217% by year-end, then fell about 30% in 2024, about 72% in 2025, and about 40% so far in 2026. The record of $1.14 came on March 15–16, 2024, and the lowest close on record arrived on August 18, 2026, near $0.039. SEI roughly doubled from that low by late September, proof that it can still rally hard, though no rebound since 2024 has come anywhere near the record.

Is Sei a good investment in 2026?

Buying SEI is a bet that a faster EVM chain will win business from Ethereum layer 2s, Solana and Sui, and that the token will capture that value despite steady unlocks. The engineering is shipping. The price has not followed. PrimeXBT’s outlook reflects that gap, with a 2026 average near $0.068 and a 2029 peak around $0.10. The case for SEI rests on adoption that has not yet shown up in the price, and the case against it is a token that has fallen in each of the last three years. Position sizing matters more than any single forecast here.

How to trade Sei on PrimeXBT

PrimeXBT offers Sei as an SEI/USDT contract in its crypto futures range, not as a spot coin or CFD. A futures position tracks SEI’s price without owning the token, so it earns no staking rewards and carries no governance vote, and it can be opened long or short, which makes a falling market as tradable as a rising one. The guide to crypto futures trading explains how the contracts work. Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike, so position size and a stop-loss matter on any trade. Trade on your own analysis and risk tolerance, and never risk more than you can afford to lose.

Trading involves risk.

How we build this forecast

PrimeXBT’s analysts build the SEI outlook from three inputs. Price structure comes first: the 20-, 50- and 200-day averages and the support and resistance zones traders have fought over this year. Next comes the network itself, meaning the pace of the Giga rollout, the monthly unlock schedule and signs of institutional access such as ETF filings. Macro is the third input, mainly the Federal Reserve’s rate path and how much risk appetite it leaves for small-cap tokens. The bands widen with each year because every input becomes harder to read further out.

The figures are estimates and can change quickly. SEI has moved more in a single week than this outlook projects for a full quarter, and one regulatory or exchange decision can reshape it. We review the forecast every month and revise it as new data arrives.

FAQ

How much will Sei be worth in 2026?

PrimeXBT's outlook places SEI between $0.0599 and $0.0761 for the rest of 2026, with an average near $0.0675. The range assumes SEI holds above its 200-day moving average through the October and December Fed meetings.

How much will Sei be worth in 2030?

The 2030 outlook spans $0.0637 to $0.1390, with an average around $0.10. It follows a mid-2029 peak and depends on network activity growing faster than new token supply.

What will Sei be worth in five years?

Five years out, the outlook points to roughly $0.064 to $0.139, the 2030 band, with a 2035 average near $0.13. Figures this far ahead describe a direction rather than a target.

Can Sei reach $1?

Not on PrimeXBT's base case. The highest figure in the outlook is about $0.29, the 2050 maximum. A return to $1 would require SEI to retrace nearly all of its fall from the $1.14 record set in March 2024.

Is Sei a good investment in 2026?

SEI fits readers who expect the Giga upgrade to bring real usage to Sei and who can tolerate drawdowns like the 72% fall of 2025. Monthly token unlocks remain a headwind, which is why the outlook sees a gradual rather than a fast recovery.

What will the Sei price be tomorrow?

This page is updated monthly and does not give daily forecasts. The live chart shows the current price. For the near term, support at $0.054 to $0.058 and resistance at $0.074 to $0.079 are the levels to watch.

Is there a Sei ETF?

Not yet. Canary Capital has filed for a staked SEI ETF and amended its registration on September 15, 2026, and 21Shares has filed a separate application, but neither fund has a confirmed launch date.
