Guangdong Goworld says none of its products are certified by or supplied to Nvidia, shutting down speculation that drove its Shenzhen-listed stock sharply higher. The company's high-frequency board materials remain in research and development, with no production and no revenue tied to Nvidia.
Guangdong Goworld issued a formal denial on June 26, stating that rumors tying its products to Nvidia certification are false. The Shenzhen-listed electronics maker said it currently has no products being supplied to Nvidia, and that the high-speed copper clad laminates and optical module printed circuit boards behind the speculation remain in research and development, with no scaled production and zero revenue contribution.
A rumor-driven rally unwinds
The clarification followed a wild run for Goworld's stock (000823.SZ), which saw its closing price deviate by more than 20% over three consecutive trading days. At one point the stock notched a single-day gain of 10%. Traders had circulated claims that the company's M7/M8 grade high-frequency board materials passed Nvidia's certification process, a milestone that would position Goworld as a supplier for AI server infrastructure.
Yet the company itself is not a shell operation. Founded in 1997, Goworld employs approximately 7,500 people and reported trailing twelve-month revenue of roughly CN¥6.64 billion, with net income of about CN¥221 million. But that existing PCB and electronic materials business is distinct from becoming a certified Nvidia supplier of next-generation high-frequency components.
Part of a broader pattern
Goworld's episode is not isolated. In May 2026, several other companies listed on China's A-share market issued similar denials after their stocks surged on unverified claims of Nvidia supply chain involvement. The pattern reflects how AI hype and U.S. export restrictions on certain Nvidia chips to China have created fertile ground for speculation around any domestic company that might be developing AI infrastructure components.
Its M7/M8 grade materials could still become commercially relevant, since high-speed copper clad laminates are components used in the high-frequency, high-density circuit boards AI servers require. Still, the company has told the stock market in direct terms that this milestone has not been reached: no certification, no supply relationship, no revenue.
