Nvidia shares rebounded about 3% on Tuesday after sliding close to $200. Hopes of a diplomatic deal between Israel and Iran pushed oil lower and lifted tech stocks, while AI demand signals and Nvidia's growing supply chain ties added support.
Nvidia shares climbed about 3% on Tuesday after sliding close to $200. The stock still trades well below its record high above $243.
The rebound came as President Trump's comments on Fox News about Israel and Iran raised hopes of a diplomatic deal. That pushed oil lower and lifted tech stocks.
Demand signals also helped. The New York Times reported that Anthropic expects its computing capacity to pass 3.5 gigawatts by the end of 2026.
Nvidia's reach across the chip supply chain is also growing. Bloomberg said the CEOs of Marvell and Lumentum spoke with Jensen Huang before agreeing their roughly $115 billion deal. Nvidia has invested $2 billion in each company.
Risks remain, however. They include financing pressure on customers, power shortages for data centres and rising competition from custom chips such as Google's TPUs.
