Nvidia's AI chip shipments in China reportedly fell 44% in the first half of 2026. Huawei reportedly gained ground, and export rules complicated deliveries.

However, business with US customers is growing. Nvidia agreed to invest $3 billion in Meta's equity offering, and Meta plans to deploy more Vera Rubin systems, Vera CPUs, Spectrum-X networking and BlueField-4 technology. Oracle has also widened access to Vera Rubin NVL72 systems on its cloud, with more Rubin capacity planned.

Separately, Anthropic's IPO filing showed it uses chips from several suppliers, a trend that could weaken Nvidia's pricing power over time.

On the earnings side, Nvidia reported second-quarter revenue of $96.22 billion, up 105.9% from a year earlier. It has also approved a $150 billion share buyback.
