Alt5 Sigma, a little-known fintech firm, crossed a $1 billion valuation after an approximately $1.5 billion token deal with World Liberty Financial, the Trump family's crypto platform. The arrangement hands Trump-linked entities roughly 60% of the venture and most of its token-sale proceeds, while 68 billion of WLFI's 100 billion tokens remain unreleased.
Alt5 Sigma, a little-known fintech company, crossed the $1 billion valuation mark after signing a deal with World Liberty Financial (WLF), the decentralized finance platform Donald Trump co-founded with sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. in late 2024. In August 2025, the firm acquired roughly 7.3 billion WLFI tokens in a deal valued at approximately $1.5 billion, then rebranded itself as AI Financial Corp.
Trump family's cut of the deal
Trump serves as WLF's co-founder emeritus, while Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are listed as co-founders. Trump-affiliated entities hold roughly 60% of the venture and collect 75% of all proceeds from WLFI token sales, plus a share of revenue from USD1, WLF's stablecoin. Of Alt5 Sigma's token purchase, the Trump family entities were entitled to roughly $500 million under that revenue-sharing arrangement.
Trump's disclosed crypto income
President Trump's 2025 financial disclosures showed over $500 million in income from WLF alone, part of a total exceeding $1 billion from the family's combined crypto ventures during the year. Separately, a UAE-linked investment of $500 million secured a 49% stake in WLF in January 2025.
Beyond token sales
WLF has expanded beyond its initial token-selling phase, launching World Liberty Markets, a lending product, and pushing USD1 as a stablecoin option across DeFi protocols. That expansion comes as WLFI trades around $0.05, giving the project a market capitalization of roughly $1.6 billion as of mid-2026.
Token supply and selling pressure
The circulating supply sits at about 32 billion tokens out of a total supply of 100 billion, and the remaining 68 billion unreleased WLFI tokens represent massive potential selling pressure. The revenue-sharing structure means Trump family entities extract value before other stakeholders, and the project's valuation is built almost entirely on political association rather than protocol metrics like total value locked or daily active users.
