Binance's ETF perpetual contracts have pulled in more than $116 billion in trading volume since the products launched in March 2026. Over that stretch, the exchange's market share in the segment climbed from 18% to 74%, making it the largest venue for ETF perpetual trading.
The surge tracks a wider expansion in exchange-traded products. Worldwide ETF trading volumes recently reached a record $23 trillion, and part of that demand has shifted toward crypto platforms offering similar exposure through perpetual contracts.
That shift is showing up on Binance's books. ETF perpetuals now account for 19% of all TradFi perpetual trading on the exchange, and the pace of growth suggests traders are increasingly turning to the products for round-the-clock access to global markets.
Liquidity has also fed the rise. Larger order books generally produce tighter spreads and lower slippage, which makes trading more efficient and, in turn, draws in more participants. The crypto derivatives market tends to reward that kind of self-reinforcing activity.
The exchange has expanded its catalogue quickly. Its TradFi perpetual offering now spans 146 trading pairs, with 35 added over the past month.
Those products reach across market segments, from broad-market ETFs such as SPY and QQQ to sector funds like semiconductor ETFs. Country-focused products, along with leveraged and inverse ETF contracts, round out the lineup.
Around-the-clock access remains a draw. Unlike traditional ETF markets tied to fixed exchange hours, perpetual contracts trade 24/7, letting traders take long or short positions without waiting for markets to reopen.
