US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $174.6 million on Friday, Sept. 4, 76.1% below Thursday's total, as only BlackRock and Fidelity's funds posted positive flows. The other ten tracked products recorded zero net flows, leaving the Tuesday session after Labor Day to show whether inflows broaden again.

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows of $174.6 million on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, with only funds from BlackRock and Fidelity attracting positive flows. That left the final US exchange session before the Labor Day closure dependent on two products for its net inflow.

Inflows narrow to two funds

The Friday total was 76.1% below Thursday's net inflow of $730.8 million on Sept. 3. Positive flows narrowed from seven of the 12 tracked funds to two. Thursday's seven positive funds were IBIT, FBTC, BITB, ARKB, MSBT, GBTC and BTC; by Friday, the five products beyond BlackRock and Fidelity in that group had all moved to zero net flows.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, or IBIT, recorded net inflows of $117.4 million. The Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, or FBTC, recorded net inflows of $57.2 million. Those were the only positive entries in Farside Investors' Sept. 4 table.

The other ten products each showed zero net flows, and none recorded a net outflow. Fidelity explains that a zero reading does not mean a fund's shares went untraded, however, because investors can still buy and sell shares between themselves during market hours without that activity creating or redeeming fund shares at the spot Bitcoin ETF level.

Next session awaits after Labor Day

Both Nasdaq and the NYSE list Monday, Sept. 7, as closed for Labor Day, making Tuesday, Sept. 8, the next scheduled regular session. Friday's figures will therefore remain the latest completed reading through the holiday break. The closure does not stop global Bitcoin trading, since direct crypto trading may run around the clock even as the exchange-traded route pauses.

Friday's figures do not identify the investors behind the flows or establish that a price move or payroll release caused the slowdown. Bitcoin currently holds the top rank by market cap among cryptocurrencies. The next completed session will show whether inflows spread beyond IBIT and FBTC again, though a single session cannot establish a lasting demand trend.
