The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) has become the first Solana ETF to reach $1 billion in assets under management, ten months after its launch. The fund now holds more than half of all Solana ETF assets, while Farside data shows it capturing nearly 79% of cumulative net flows across six tracked products.

The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF crossed $1 billion in assets under management on Friday, making it the first Solana ETF to reach the milestone. Bitwise said most of the inflows arrived during a bear market, calling it "an impressive indication of investor conviction" in a statement on X.

BSOL now accounts for more than half of the entire SOL ETF AUM. Bitwise President Teddy Fusaro said BSOL shares are down about 40% from their listing price. Solana itself is off 60% from its all-time high. Cumulative trading volume across spot Solana ETFs has surpassed $13 billion since their September 2025 launch.

Solana ETF inflows hit a record stretch

A Farside Investors table shows BSOL holding $1.0114 billion of cumulative net flow against $1.284 billion for the six tracked funds, putting Bitwise at nearly 79% of the group total. On Aug. 27, the six products together took in $56.1 million, including $40.2 million for BSOL, while Grayscale's GSOL and Fidelity's FSOL added smaller amounts.

Glassnode separately reported $138 million of Solana ETF net inflows over 10 days, the strongest such stretch on record, with a single-day high of $47 million on Tuesday.

Institutional access keeps widening

The recent recovery has been accompanied by growing institutional access to Solana. This week, $12 trillion asset manager Charles Schwab said it would begin rolling out spot Solana trading in the coming months. Goldman Sachs is the top known holder of spot Solana ETFs, with nearly $90 million in holdings, and Bloomberg Intelligence's James Seyffart said advisors were big buyers in the second quarter while hedge funds were net sellers.

For its part, Solana's price has risen nearly 45% over the past month. Bitwise reported that 96% of BSOL's assets were staked as of Aug. 26, with a 5.80% net staking reward rate, against a target of staking 100%.
