24/7 Wall St. set a $167.84 price target on CoreWeave, implying 94% upside from the stock's current price, even as shares trade 44% below their 52-week high. The firm's bull case rests on a $104 billion contract backlog against a much smaller market cap, while the bear case points to rising interest expense and a $626 million net loss.
CoreWeave shares sit 44% below their $153.20 52-week high. Yet 24/7 Wall St. rates the stock a buy with a $167.84 price target, 94.19% above the current $86.44 quote, assigning the call moderate confidence given the volatility of a company burning cash to build out GPU capacity.
Backlog dwarfs the market cap
CRWV has fallen 2.87% over the past week and 4.88% over the past month. It remains, however, 20.71% higher year to date. Q2 2026 results on August 11 topped estimates, with revenue of $2.575 billion growing 112.32% year over year. Backlog, meanwhile, reached $104 billion. Management also disclosed more than $25 billion of net new commitments in early Q3, alongside inclusion in the Nasdaq-100.
That backlog dwarfs CoreWeave's own $44.87 billion market cap. By comparison, peer Nebius Group carries a $55.79 billion market cap. Nebius holds remaining performance obligations of $37.5 billion, nearly three times smaller than CoreWeave's backlog. 24/7 Wall St. argues the gap signals CoreWeave is undervalued relative to its neocloud peer.
A GPU price hike and a Nvidia platform win
CoreWeave validated Nvidia's Vera Rubin NVL72 platform, and a roughly 25% GPU price hike from July is expected to lift Q4 contribution margins by 5 to 10 percentage points. Full-year 2026 revenue guidance sits at $12.4 billion to $13.2 billion, and 24/7 Wall St.'s bull-case scenario puts a one-year target at $172.16.
The balance-sheet risk
But the bear case centers on the balance sheet. Q2 capex of $9.4 billion and interest expense of $640 million, up from $267 million a year earlier, produced a $626 million net loss. CoreWeave also faces a securities fraud class action tied to its Q4 2025 filing, plus customer concentration around Meta and OpenAI. Even so, 24/7 Wall St.'s downside scenario lands at $133.84, still above today's price.
