The move was narrow but green. German shares opened the trading week higher as investors digested fresh construction PMI surveys and domestic data, with MT Newswires noting the country's construction-sector downturn had eased.
Rheinmetall climbed 3.60% to lead the index, followed by Scout24 at 2.47% and Fresenius at 1.81%.
On the other side, Bayer fell 4.09% for the day's sharpest decline, with Merck and Continental each down 2.16%.
