Germany's DAX finished Monday up 47 points, or 0.19%, closing at 25,114. Brenntag, Deutsche Boerse and Siemens Healthineers led the advance, while Infineon, Rheinmetall and MTU Aero Engines dragged.
The DAX rose 47 points, or 0.19%, to close at 25,114 on Monday, ending the session in positive territory.
Brenntag and Deutsche Boerse lead
Brenntag led the gainers with a 3.63% rise. Deutsche Boerse added 2.97%, and Siemens Healthineers rose 2.75% to round out the top three advancers.
Those three names carried the index higher on the day.
Infineon, Rheinmetall and MTU fall
On the other side of the tape, Infineon fell 2.88%, the largest decline among the movers named.
Rheinmetall dropped 2.75%, and MTU Aero Engines slipped 2.62% to complete the day's three largest losers.
