Eli Lilly shares set an all-time high of $1,293.11 on Oct 20, 2026. Investing.com ties the move to a pediatric trial result, a $1.1 billion partnership and a higher analyst price target.
Eli Lilly stock reached an all-time high of $1,293.11, with shares trading at $1,294.40 afterward. The company's market capitalization stands at $1.14 trillion.
A 60.8% gain over the past year
Over the past year, the stock has gained 60.8%, according to Investing.com. The same report cites a Piotroski Score of 9 and revenue growth of nearly 50%.
However, InvestingPro analysis finds the stock slightly overvalued relative to its Fair Value, even as it rates the company's financial health "GREAT."
Pipeline news and a new partnership
A second Investing.com report points to developments announced the prior evening. Lilly reported positive one-year results from the Phase 3 SHINE-2 study of Omvoh in pediatric patients aged 6 to 17 with ulcerative colitis. The trial met its primary endpoint, and Lilly plans to submit the data to global regulators.
Lilly also entered a collaboration with JT Therapeutics on a lipid nanoparticle delivery platform valued at up to $1.1 billion. In addition, Cantor Fitzgerald raised its price target to $1,440 and kept an Overweight rating.
Gains came against a softer market
The broader market offered little help. The S&P 500 slipped 0.1% and the Nasdaq declined 0.7%, so Investing.com describes the move in Lilly as driven by company-specific news.
Investors now look to the company's Q3 2026 earnings report, scheduled for October 29.
