Spot Ethereum ETFs pulled in almost $104 million over the past week, extending a stretch in which they have outdrawn their Bitcoin rivals. Bitcoin funds closed a third straight green week, yet late outflows trimmed the gain to a slim $33.79 million.

Money kept favoring Ethereum. The funds tracking the second-largest crypto took in almost $104 million last week. The Bitcoin products, by contrast, managed just $33.79 million after heavy late-week withdrawals erased most of their advance.

Bitcoin ETFs end green but lose steam

The spot Bitcoin ETFs had only just escaped a rough stretch. An eight-week run that began in mid-May drained more than $8 billion, cutting total net inflows from over $59.34 billion to $51.08 billion by July 2. Investors then broke that streak in the first full week of July with nearly $200 million, followed by $75.67 million the next week.

A strong start to the latest week — roughly $1 billion across seven straight green days from July 14 to July 22 — gave way to a reversal. Bitcoin’s rally reached $67,000 on Wednesday, its highest in over a month, before the asset was rejected and slid to $64,000 by Friday. Investors pulled $225.18 million on Thursday and $240 million on Friday, leaving the week only modestly positive.

Ethereum ETFs keep the lead

The spot Ethereum ETFs told a steadier story. Only Friday landed in the red, with $70.62 million pulled out. The earlier days stayed positive — $38.09 million Monday, $37.47 million Tuesday, $72.64 million Wednesday, and $26.32 million Thursday.

Those inflows tracked Ether’s price. The asset climbed past $1,900 mid-week and peaked just above $1,950 before slipping about $100 on Friday and Saturday. Over the past three weeks, Ethereum ETF net inflows have recovered more than $200 million, though they remain well below the $12.09 billion reached in May.
