Big-cap technology stocks outpaced a broad market rally, with Meta gaining 6.58% and four other mega-cap peers each rising at least 3.45%. The five names now show sharply different technical pictures, with some breaking resistance and others testing support.
U.S. stocks pushed higher, with the S&P 500 up 1.60% and the Nasdaq climbing 2.25%. Large-cap technology stocks did even better, putting the spotlight back on the mega-cap names that have driven much of the market's gains over the past few years.
Microsoft, Meta, Nvidia, Alphabet and Amazon each rose at least 3.45% on the day, comfortably outpacing the broader market. Meta led the group with a 6.58% advance, while Nvidia posted the smallest gain among the five.
Yet the technical outlook is not the same for each stock. Some are breaking above key resistance levels, others are testing important support or approaching major technical hurdles, and those differences could shape each stock's next move.
