Novo Nordisk's Danish-listed shares dropped 4.46% on Monday as investors reacted to the Ozempic maker's new long-term strategy. The Danish drug company revealed its plans through 2030 at a capital-markets day that did little to alleviate concerns about its future.
At the event, Novo said it plans to launch at least five multiblockbuster drugs and aims to serve 60 million patients globally by 2030. The company also said it would target compound annual revenue growth in line with industry peers while focusing more on its oral GLP-1 drugs.
Novo Nordisk's U.S.-listed shares (NVO) rose 0.12%, while its Danish-listed shares (NOVO.B) fell 4.46% on the day.
