Nvidia shares climbed 1.80% on Sept. 3, 2026, as Big Tech names pushed back toward record highs. The chipmaker is re-establishing itself as the leading force in the artificial-intelligence trade after spending the earlier part of 2026 in the shadows of smaller, faster-rising semiconductor stocks.
The Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF added 2.43% and is closing in on its May peak. This time, Nvidia is driving the advance.
Broader indices also climbed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.18% to 53,686.11. The S&P 500 rose 1.06% to 7,747.71. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.40% to 26,584.06.
Meanwhile, the Cboe Volatility Index fell 5.79% to 14.32.
Tesla jumped 5.42%. Meta gained 3.01%, rounding out gains across the Magnificent Seven alongside Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet and Apple, which also traded higher on the day.
