NYSE has added Broadridge, Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate as transfer-agent partners for its planned tokenized securities venue. The network now has six firms, but the platform still needs regulatory approval and has no confirmed launch date.
The New York Stock Exchange named four new transfer-agent partners on November 2 for its proposed platform for tokenization of securities: Broadridge Financial Solutions, Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate. They join Securitize and tZERO, which had already signed agreements to support the venue.
However, the exchange has not said when trading will begin or which securities will be available first. Its plans depend on regulatory approval.
Six firms now make up NYSE's transfer-agent network
Broadridge, Computershare and Equiniti provide recordkeeping and shareholder services to established public companies. NYSE said the three firms collectively serve nearly 5,000 listed businesses, including approximately 99% of S&P 500 companies.
Securitize, tZERO and Superstate, meanwhile, bring experience in digital securities, blockchain recordkeeping and tokenized assets. NYSE Group President Lynn Martin said the exchange's priority remains protecting and upholding market integrity as it develops new infrastructure.
Superstate CEO Robert Leshner said: "Tokenization is a partnership between issuers, transfer agents, and exchanges."
How the proposed venue would work
NYSE first outlined the platform in January 2026. It combines the exchange's Pillar matching engine with blockchain-based technology for post-trade processing, settlement and custody.
Trading would run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with immediate settlement and orders placed in dollar amounts. Stablecoins would offer another way to fund trades, and the infrastructure would support multiple blockchain networks.
The November announcement did not identify which networks or stablecoins the platform will support first. NYSE also expects the venue to handle issuer-sponsored tokenized securities and third-party custodial tokens, both fungible with traditionally issued securities, so holders would receive the same dividends and governance rights.
Neither Securitize nor Superstate has publicly named the first securities it will support on the NYSE-affiliated platform.
