Robinhood's funded customer base reached 28.5 million in July 2026, up from 27.7 million in May and 27.4 million in February, according to the company's monthly operating metrics released around August 12. The growth accompanies rising platform assets, an expansion to 38 countries, and new blockchain-based trading products.
Robinhood's funded customers reached 28.5 million in its July 2026 monthly operating metrics, continuing a steady climb from 27.4 million in February and 27.7 million in May. That is roughly 1.1 million new funded customers added in five months.
Assets and trading volumes climb
Total platform assets grew from $314B in February to $377B by May, a $63B increase over three months. Equity trading volumes hit $315B in May alone. That reflects strong year-over-year growth in retail trading activity. Net deposits, meanwhile, held steady at $5.6B for both February and May.
The July report covers Robinhood's full suite of key performance indicators, including funded customers, total platform assets, net deposits, equities and options trading volumes, crypto trading volumes, margin balances, and cash deposits.
Going global, going onchain
Robinhood's growth is not purely domestic anymore. A July 1 announcement highlighted that the platform now serves customers across 38 countries on three continents, approaching 28 million users globally at the time of that update.
The international push pairs with product expansion on the crypto and blockchain side. Robinhood has built its own Layer 2 blockchain, Robinhood Chain, using Arbitrum technology, a scaling solution that sits on top of Ethereum and processes transactions faster and more cheaply than the base chain. Alongside Robinhood Chain, the company has introduced stock tokens, which let customers trade tokenized versions of equities onchain, and has leaned into 24/7 trading and DeFi features.
