Exchange-flow data shows Shiba Inu (SHIB) inflows running far ahead of outflows, a pattern that typically points to rising sell-side liquidity. The token has slipped back to about $0.00000534 after failing to hold its recent move above $0.000006, and it remains capped below a key long-term moving average.
Shiba Inu could face renewed selling pressure after exchange-flow data revealed a sharp imbalance between deposits and withdrawals. The mean exchange inflow now sits at roughly 1.4396 billion SHIB per transaction, against a mean outflow of only 364.95 million SHIB — inflows running at nearly four times the size of outflows on average.
Inflows outpace outflows across the board
The imbalance holds up in the largest transactions too. The ten biggest inflow transfers total approximately 5.98 billion SHIB, compared with just 2.33 billion SHIB across the ten biggest outflows. Total exchange inflow volume stands at roughly 401.26 billion SHIB, versus 317.72 billion SHIB in outflows.
Coins moving onto exchanges are not always sold immediately — investors sometimes deposit for collateral or trading rather than an outright exit. Still, when inflows outpace outflows by this margin, it typically expands the pool of tokens available for sale.
SHIB stalls below resistance
The price action reflects that pressure. SHIB failed to sustain its recent move above $0.000006 and has since drifted back to about $0.00000534, with the current daily candle down roughly 2%. The token was also unable to clear the long-term moving average near $0.00000574, which remains the main technical barrier.
That rejection leaves the broader trend unresolved. Some signs still favor buyers, however: an RSI near 61 suggests momentum is still somewhat bullish rather than exhausted, and SHIB continues to hold above its shorter moving averages around $0.00000457 to $0.00000493.
Levels to watch
Reclaiming $0.00000574 and then $0.000006 would restore the breakout structure for bulls. Short of that, exchange-side pressure could build further. The first significant downside support sits around $0.0000049, followed by roughly $0.0000046, should selling accelerate.
