Solana's cumulative DEX volume has crossed $3 trillion, coinciding with a second wave of the network's rent reduction program that will make hundreds of thousands more SOL reclaimable. SOL price action is meanwhile forming a setup one analyst says could open a path toward $150.
Solana has crossed $3 trillion in cumulative DEX volume, and another major network change is due within hours. The second wave of Solana's rent reduction program is set to go live on mainnet, making another 612,000 SOL reclaimable.
Rent Reduction Adds More Reclaimable SOL
That step would bring the total reclaimable amount to 918,000 SOL. Across all five planned steps, up to 3.06 million SOL, worth about $319 million, could eventually become reclaimable.
The timing lines up with other network growth. Tokenized equity supply on Solana has hit a record $684 million, up 47% in three weeks, adding another growth metric to a busy week for the network.
SOL Price Setup Points Toward $150
An analyst said SOL has formed a bull flag. If the token breaks and reclaims $105, the bullish scenario points toward a move to $150. That is a sizeable jump from the key level, but the setup still needs confirmation — a failure to reclaim $105 would leave the bullish case unconfirmed.
Ecosystem Activity Keeps Building
Solana also saw several ecosystem developments this week. StonkFun flipped PumpFun in launchpad revenue and is now targeting Robinhood's Pons, while World went offline after unprecedented website traffic following its launch.
Elsewhere, BulkTrade outpaced Hyperliquid and Lighter in first-day volume as its mainnet went live. Solana Mobile also announced $135,000 in prizes for its CLOCK IN hackathon targeting new Seeker apps. Separately, Sunrise is bringing PEAQ to Solana, with 3.3 million machines beginning to bond tokens under its new economic model.
For SOL, $105 remains the immediate test. Reclaim it, and $150 becomes the level bulls will be watching.
