Solana reclaimed $100 and is retesting the $103.50 resistance zone that has capped its rally, with a close above that level opening the path toward $115. The move comes alongside record trading volume for Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF, nine straight weeks of Solana DEX volume beating major centralized exchanges, and the largest single-day spot Solana ETF inflow since December 15, 2025.
SOL breaks its two-month ceiling
Solana surged 7% in 24 hours, extending its weekly gain to 32%, after breaking the resistance zone between $78 and $79 that had held for two months. From there, SOL climbed through $88 and reached $103.50 before sellers rejected the high and pushed the price back to $87.
Buyers then defended the breakout, recovering above $92 and below $97 rather than retracing fully to the $79 launchpad. Momentum returned, and SOL pushed above $100 to $101.12, bringing the $103.50 ceiling back into focus. A four-hour candle close above that level would confirm a breakout toward $106.80, with Fibonacci levels at $110.88 and $112.70 ahead of the $115 psychological barrier. A failure there instead turns attention back to the $92-$97 base, with $87 as a lower focal point.
BSOL volume hits a record as ETF interest builds
Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) recorded $108.65 million in trading volume in a single day, its largest since launch, against a prior high of $60-$80 million. Separately, spot Solana ETFs took in $33.5 million on Monday, the highest single-day inflow since December 15, 2025, with volume nearing $167 million.
DEX volumes keep outpacing rival exchanges
According to SolanaFloor, Solana's decentralized exchanges have posted spot volumes exceeding Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken for a ninth consecutive week, ranking second only to Binance. Prediction markets still price just a 1% chance of Solana reaching $160 in August, even as the decentralized exchange activity could be viewed as a positive indicator of Solana's broadening market appeal and adoption.
