AIsa, a San Francisco-based company building infrastructure for enterprise AI agents, has completed its seed extension round. Tether and HIVEN joined as strategic investors, lifting total funding to more than $9 million.
AIsa said it completed its seed extension round, with Tether and HIVEN joining as strategic investors. The round brings the company's total funding to more than $9 million.
The two new investors joined existing backers including Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates and Saison Capital.
What AIsa builds
Founder and CEO Jordan Liu framed the raise around the needs of enterprise agents. In a Friday statement, he said: "Enterprise AI agents need trusted information, useful tools and a governed way to transact," in the statement.
According to the statement, fragmented providers, integrations and billing systems make it difficult for enterprise AI agents to operate effectively in production and manage at scale. AIsa addresses this by bringing resource discovery, access and transactions into one governed, usage-based network.
Its infrastructure connects enterprise agents to external data, AI search, models, APIs, software tools and industry services. It combines governed access with usage metering, billing and settlement, the statement said.
Tether's recent earnings
Cointelegraph reported on July 31 that Tether, the stablecoin issuer, generated another multibillion-dollar quarter as income from its US Treasury portfolio continued to bolster earnings.
Tether reported a net operating profit of $1.5 billion for the second quarter, driven primarily by interest earned on US Treasury holdings and repurchase agreements.
