Spot XRP ETFs lifted cumulative net inflows to almost $1.5 billion, an all-time high, yet three of last week’s five trading days recorded no net flows at all. That pattern now covers 10 of the last 15 trading days. XRP’s push toward $1.16 stalled and reversed below $1.10.
The spot exchange-traded funds tracking XRP set a record last week, and the record carries a problem inside it: money arrived on two days and then stopped for three.
Data from SoSoValue shows the funds attracted $2.49 million on Monday and $5.66 million on Tuesday. Across the remaining three business days, the same aggregator recorded $0.00 in net flows on each day.
Zero-flow days outnumber active ones
The week before took the same shape, with only one day in the green and the other four at $0.00. Looking further back, 10 out of the last 15 trading days have seen zero net flows.
CryptoPotato reported that the two consecutive green weeks follow a nine-week streak in which the funds attracted over $150 million, and that a more in-depth look at the numbers shows investors’ interest has dwindled lately. Even so, cumulative total net inflow has risen to almost $1.5 billion, according to SoSoValue, which is an all-time high.
The token stalled at $1.16
XRP pumped at the beginning of the week, perhaps because of the growing ETF net flows, moving from under $1.09 to a multi-day peak of $1.16. But it was halted there and has returned to below $1.10 as of press time.
Flare targets idle XRP over six months
Separately, Flare Networks co-founder and CEO Hugo Philion announced the start of a six-month phase of large-scale integration expected to transform the XRP-based decentralized finance ecosystem known as XRPFi. Because the XRP Ledger does not support smart contracts, billions of dollars worth of XRP have sat in wallets for years without practical utility.
Investors have embraced the initiative, and FXRP issuance has already exceeded 150 million tokens. Philion expects the protocol to attract up to 5 billion XRP, approximately 5% of the coin’s total supply.
Whether the price follows remains an open question. U.Today wrote that until these infrastructure challenges are resolved, XRP’s market price will continue to follow broader macroeconomic trends and Bitcoin’s movements.
