US-listed spot XRP funds ended 13 straight weeks of positive flows with approximately $1.84 million in net withdrawals. The reversal is small next to the roughly $1.8 billion the products have attracted in total.
US spot XRP ETF products finished the October 12–16 trading week with approximately $1.84 million in net withdrawals. That interrupted a run of positive weeks that began in July.
The exit was not a rush. The funds were flat on Monday and Tuesday and gained about $740,400 on Wednesday. Thursday then brought a $104,500 withdrawal, and Friday's $2.47 million outflow, attributed to Canary Capital's XRPC product, pushed the weekly total below zero.
The timing coincided with XRP trading around the $1.30 area amid broader crypto market volatility. However, the flow report does not show whether shareholders sold because of price action, portfolio rebalancing or another consideration.
Small reversal against a larger base
Net cumulative inflows into these products stood around $1.8 billion by October 16. Against that base, a $1.84 million weekly reversal is a relatively small change in positioning.
The end of the streak, rather than the size of the withdrawal, makes the development newsworthy. A second or third negative week would make it easier to argue that sentiment has changed, and for now the numbers describe a pause in demand, not a collapse in it.
