Linea (LINEA) Price Prediction 2026, 2027–2030

Linea (LINEA) trades near $0.0027 in mid-October 2026, about 94% below the $0.0467 peak it touched on launch day in September 2025. LINEA is the token of Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 network built by Consensys, the company behind MetaMask, that settles transactions on Ethereum with zero-knowledge proofs. This page sets out PrimeXBT’s Linea price prediction through 2030 and out to 2050, the chart levels in play, and the supply schedule behind them. The tension is plain: the network burns its fees in ETH and LINEA, yet those fees came to about $39,000 over the past 30 days, while new tokens leave the ecosystem fund every month.

Linea outlook at a glance

  • 2026 base case: $0.00225–$0.00297 for the rest of the year, with an average near $0.00265, as monthly unlocks keep a lid on rallies.
  • Main bullish catalyst: a broader crypto recovery led by Bitcoin and Ethereum, which LINEA has tracked closely since its August low.
  • Biggest downside risk: continued dilution from the ecosystem fund combined with another Fed hike, pushing LINEA through support at $0.00246–$0.00255 and back toward its $0.00207 record low.
  • Long-term view: a slow climb to an average near $0.0036 by 2029–2030, still more than 90% below the launch-day peak, with figures beyond 2030 useful only as a direction.

Linea price prediction 2026–2030 (yearly forecast)

PrimeXBT’s yearly LINEA ranges are derived from the month-by-month path in the sections below. Outside models for the same years disagree by an order of magnitude, so they appear in the analyst comparison rather than inside these numbers.

Year Minimum Average Maximum
2026 $0.00225 $0.00265 $0.00297
2027 $0.00192 $0.00272 $0.00381
2028 $0.00191 $0.00310 $0.00452
2029 $0.00221 $0.00359 $0.00500
2030 $0.00228 $0.00356 $0.00489

The path is shallow because supply keeps growing. About 34% of the 72 billion maximum supply circulates today, according to Tokenomist and CoinGecko, and the ecosystem fund that holds most of the rest releases tokens on a 10-year schedule weighted toward the early years. The burn works in the other direction, but with network fees of roughly $1,300 a day, by DefiLlama’s count, it has removed only about 0.6% of maximum supply since launch, a PrimeXBT calculation from CoinGecko’s total supply figure. Higher prices in this outlook therefore depend on demand returning to the network, not on the token design alone.

Linea price prediction 2026

PrimeXBT’s outlook for the rest of 2026 places LINEA between $0.00225 and $0.00297, with an average near $0.00265. The range assumes the token stays inside the band it has traded in since early June while two more Fed meetings and two scheduled unlocks pass.

Month (2026) Minimum Average Maximum
October $0.00243 $0.00270 $0.00297
November $0.00237 $0.00265 $0.00293
December $0.00225 $0.00260 $0.00295

A daily close above $0.0030 would put the top of this band in play. A close below $0.00246, the September 15 low, would leave little support before the August record low near $0.00207.

Linea price prediction 2027

For 2027, the outlook sees LINEA between $0.00192 and $0.00381, with an average near $0.00272. The first half stays almost flat: monthly releases from the ecosystem fund continue at the fastest pace of its 10-year schedule. The modest rise later in the year assumes Linea’s planned prover and finality upgrades are in place and that the wider market has stabilised.

Month (2027) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.00219 $0.00261 $0.00304
February $0.00215 $0.00263 $0.00311
March $0.00211 $0.00264 $0.00318

June $0.00201 $0.00269 $0.00336
July $0.00198 $0.00270 $0.00342
August $0.00197 $0.00273 $0.00350
September $0.00195 $0.00277 $0.00358
October $0.00194 $0.00280 $0.00366
November $0.00193 $0.00283 $0.00373
December $0.00192 $0.00287 $0.00381

Linea price prediction 2028

The 2028 range runs from $0.00191 to $0.00452, with an average near $0.0031. By then the ecosystem fund’s yearly release rate should be past its early peak, since the published schedule tapers from about 10% a year toward 2% by year 10. That gives burns a better chance to offset new supply, provided network fees rise from current levels.

Month (2028) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.00191 $0.00290 $0.00389
February $0.00191 $0.00293 $0.00396
March $0.00193 $0.00297 $0.00400
April $0.00195 $0.00300 $0.00405
May $0.00197 $0.00303 $0.00409
June $0.00199 $0.00307 $0.00414
July $0.00201 $0.00310 $0.00419
August $0.00205 $0.00315 $0.00425
September $0.00208 $0.00320 $0.00432
October $0.00211 $0.00325 $0.00439
November $0.00214 $0.00330 $0.00445
December $0.00218 $0.00335 $0.00452

Linea price prediction 2029

The outlook puts LINEA between $0.00221 and $0.005 in 2029, with an average near $0.00359 and the highest monthly average of the five-year path in July. The year assumes Ethereum scaling demand keeps growing and that Linea wins a share of it back from larger Layer 2 networks.

Month (2029) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.00221 $0.00340 $0.00459
February $0.00224 $0.00345 $0.00466

October $0.00237 $0.00365 $0.00493
November $0.00236 $0.00363 $0.00491
December $0.00235 $0.00362 $0.00488

Linea price prediction 2030

For 2030, PrimeXBT’s outlook places LINEA between $0.00228 and $0.00489, with an average near $0.00356. The path eases slightly after the 2029 high before turning up again late in the year. The five-year lock on Consensys’s 15% allocation is also due to end around this point; Linea’s documentation does not give the exact start date of that lock, so the date is not modelled.

Month (2030) Minimum Average Maximum
January $0.00234 $0.00360 $0.00486
February $0.00233 $0.00358 $0.00484

Linea long-term price prediction: 2035, 2040–2050

Nobody can say which Ethereum rollups will still carry meaningful traffic in 2040. The figures below extend the 2030 trend at a declining growth rate. They describe a direction under steady conditions, not a target, and the gap between minimum and maximum widens with every year added.

Year Minimum Average Maximum
2035 $0.00293 $0.00451 $0.00609
2040 $0.00356 $0.00548 $0.00740
2050 $0.00479 $0.00737 $0.00995

What analysts and models say (compared)

No bank or asset manager has published a LINEA price target that could be found, so the comparison relies on algorithmic forecast sites. Their views split sharply. CoinCodex expects a further fall into year-end, while PricePrediction.net projects a December 2026 average roughly ten times the current price.

Source Method Linea view
CoinCodex (October 19, 2026) Algorithmic $0.0021 at end-2026; $0.0050 at end-2030; $0.0108 by 2040; $0.0316 by 2050
CoinDataFlow (October 19, 2026) Algorithmic 2026: $0.0015–$0.0027; 2027 average $0.0029; 2030 average $0.0156
PricePrediction.net (October 19, 2026) AI model December 2026 average $0.0274; December 2030 average $0.0268; $1.24 by 2050

The gap reflects inputs rather than insight. CoinCodex and CoinDataFlow extrapolate a price that has fallen for most of the past year. PricePrediction.net’s own table jumps tenfold between October and December 2026 and then drops 63% in January 2027, which suggests a model artefact rather than a view on Linea. None of the three discloses how it treats token unlocks or network fees, the two inputs that matter most for LINEA. PrimeXBT’s path sits near the cautious end.

Track record of this forecast

This is the first PrimeXBT price forecast for Linea. From the next monthly review onward, this section will compare the previous forecast against LINEA’s actual price on the update date, and explain any miss rather than smoothing it over.

Linea technical analysis

As of October 19, 2026, LINEA sits just below its main moving averages. The 50-day simple moving average is near $0.00276 and the 200-day near $0.00281, almost on top of each other, which describes a market without a trend. The 100-day, near $0.00255, still points up after the August rebound. The 14-day RSI reads about 42 to 45, neutral with a slight bearish tilt.

The first support is $0.00265, where LINEA closed on October 8 and October 18. Below it, $0.00246–$0.00255 covers the September 15 low and the lowest October trade. The last reference is the record low near $0.00207 from August 18–19. On the upside, resistance starts at the 200-day average around $0.00281, then $0.0030–$0.00303, the closing highs of September 27 and October 13, and $0.00318, the October intraday high. Since early June, every push toward $0.0031 has failed.

Linea correlation with other assets

LINEA follows the crypto majors more closely than its own news. Over the past year, its weekly returns showed the strongest link to Bitcoin, followed by Ethereum and Arbitrum’s ARB, a rival Ethereum Layer 2 token. The link to the Nasdaq was weak, and links to gold and the US dollar index were close to zero.

The rebound from the August low shows the pattern. Between August 18 and October 19, LINEA rose about 30%, Bitcoin about 28% and Ethereum about 27%. With daily network activity small, the token has little of its own momentum to resist a market-wide move, so a change in Bitcoin dominance tends to reach LINEA quickly. One year of data on a young token is a thin base, and these links can loosen without warning.

Fundamental factors

Linea’s token launched on September 10, 2025. Maximum supply is 72,009,990,000 LINEA, 1,000 times Ethereum’s genesis supply. Linea’s documentation allocates 85% to the ecosystem, split into a 75% ecosystem fund managed by the Linea Consortium and a 10% airdrop, and 15% to Consensys, locked and non-transferable for five years. There is no allocation to private investors. At about $0.0027, the market capitalization is near $66 million and the fully diluted valuation near $194 million, according to CoinGecko.

Two mechanisms pull supply in opposite directions. The ecosystem fund releases tokens monthly on the 10th, with about 10% of the fund a year in the early years. Trackers disagree on the size of each release: for July 2026, CoinGecko listed about 1.08 billion LINEA and TokenToria about 381 million, as CryptoDaily reported. Against that, since November 2025 Linea has burned all surplus network revenue after costs, 20% as ETH and 80% by buying LINEA and burning it on Ethereum.

Usage is the weak link. The value secured on Linea fell from about $1.6 billion a year ago to roughly $350 million, according to L2BEAT, and the DeFi total value locked tracked by DefiLlama is under $25 million, from a peak near $1.68 billion in September 2025. Monthly fees dropped from about $1.4 million in September 2025 to around $40,000 in September 2026, by DefiLlama’s count. Stablecoins on the network total about $37 million, according to DefiLlama and growthepie.

Development has not stopped. Linea’s release notes list support for EIP-7702 batched and gasless transactions in March 2026, Yield Boost, which stakes ETH held in the canonical bridge and passes the rewards to the ecosystem, from March 30, and a throughput increase to 200 million gas per second in April. In January 2026 SharpLink, a Nasdaq-listed ETH treasury company, deployed about $170 million of ETH on Linea, as The Block and Bankless reported. None of this has yet shown up in fee income.

Upcoming catalysts

Only confirmed, dated events are listed. LINEA’s tight link to Bitcoin means Fed decisions reach the token through the wider crypto market.

Date Event Potential impact
October 27–28, 2026 FOMC meeting The Fed raised rates to 3.75%–4.00% on September 16; another hike would weigh on risk appetite
November 10, 2026 Scheduled LINEA unlock New supply entering circulation; size varies by tracker
December 8–9, 2026 FOMC meeting (with economic projections) Rate path into 2027
Q4 2026 (target) Linea Beta v5.3 and v5.4: prover optimisations and finality under 30 minutes Faster withdrawals to Ethereum; Linea notes the timing can move

FOMC dates follow the Federal Reserve’s published 2026 schedule.

Bull case vs bear case

Bull case:

  • A Bitcoin-led recovery lifts the sector, and LINEA’s high beta to the majors amplifies the move.
  • Activity returns to the network, turning the dual burn into a measurable offset to monthly unlocks.
  • Yield Boost and treasury deployments such as SharpLink’s draw ETH back onto Linea.
  • Faster finality in the Q4 2026 releases makes the network more practical for exchanges and payment flows.

Bear case:

  • Monthly releases from the ecosystem fund keep adding supply faster than the market absorbs it.
  • Fees stay near $40,000 a month, too little for the burn to matter.
  • Larger Layer 2 networks keep the liquidity that left Linea after 2025.
  • Further Fed hikes drain demand for small-cap tokens.

Invalidation levels. The bull case loses its footing if LINEA settles below $0.00246, which would expose the August low near $0.00207 and leave no historical support beneath it. The bear case breaks if LINEA holds above $0.00303 and then clears $0.00318, ending the range that has held since early June.

Historical performance

LINEA’s short history runs almost entirely downhill. The token posted its first daily close near $0.023 on September 10, 2025, after a brief spike to $0.0467 that same day, and recorded its highest daily close, about $0.033, on September 21. It finished 2025 near $0.0063, down about 73% from its first close, and has lost another 60% in 2026. The slide paused in early June: since then LINEA has moved between roughly $0.0021 and $0.0032. Over 12 months, the token is down about 85%, against roughly 24% for Bitcoin and 39% for Ethereum.

Is Linea a good investment in 2026?

LINEA combines a credible backer and an active development roadmap with a supply schedule that has worked against holders since launch. The burn exists, but the fees feeding it are a few percent of their 2025 level, and two-thirds of the supply has yet to enter circulation. PrimeXBT’s outlook sees LINEA drifting slightly lower into year-end, with an average near $0.00265 for the rest of 2026. How to weigh those factors is a judgement each reader makes on their own analysis and risk tolerance; this page does not offer a recommendation.

How to trade Linea on PrimeXBT

LINEA/USDT is available on PrimeXBT’s crypto futures market, so traders can take a long or short position on the price without holding the token. A futures position carries no claim on LINEA itself or on any airdrop or ecosystem rewards. PrimeXBT’s guide to crypto futures trading explains how the contracts work. Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike, so position size and a stop-loss matter on any trade. Trade on your own analysis and risk tolerance, and never risk more than you can afford to lose.

Trading involves risk.

How we build this forecast

We start from LINEA’s price today and where it sits against its 50-, 100- and 200-day moving averages and the range it has held since early June. We then weigh what moves supply and demand for this token in particular: monthly releases from the ecosystem fund, the dual burn and the network fees that pay for it, and activity on Linea against rival Layer 2 networks, before placing it in the context of Fed policy and Bitcoin’s direction. The monthly path is our own model built on those inputs, and the yearly figures come from it.

These are estimates, not promises. A small-cap token with two-thirds of its supply still locked can move sharply on one unlock or one market-wide sell-off. We review this outlook every month and revise it when the evidence changes.
