Binance has added AVA, GNS, SCR and TOWNS to its Monitoring Tag list effective September 4, 2026, flagging the tokens as at risk of losing their listing status. On the same date, the exchange's Binance Alpha platform will remove 14 tokens that no longer meet its featuring standards.
Four tokens added to the Monitoring Tag
Binance said it will extend its Monitoring Tag to cover AVA, GNS, SCR and TOWNS starting September 4, 2026. The exchange places tokens under this tag when they are closely watched and subject to regular reviews, marking them as at risk of no longer meeting Binance's listing criteria.
The decision followed recent reviews of the four tokens. Addressing the announcement to its UK users, Binance noted that some of the tagged tokens may not be available on the platform. Tokens carrying the Monitoring Tag can show significantly higher volatility and risk than other listed assets.
Traders will see the Monitoring Tag on the affected tokens' Spot and Margin trading pages, as well as on the Markets Overview page, and a risk warning banner will also appear. Binance said it will run periodic project reviews to decide whether each tag stays or gets removed. In the meantime, other services tied to the four tokens will not be affected.
Binance Alpha to delist 14 tokens
Separately, Binance Alpha will delist 14 tokens on September 4, 2026, at 8:30 UTC after determining they no longer adhere to the platform's featuring standards.
