Bitcoin held near $86,000 on Wednesday, just below the $87,000 level it touched earlier in the session, as spot Bitcoin ETFs extended their inflow streak to four sessions worth roughly $2.3 billion. BlackRock's IBIT led Tuesday's $714.75 million haul, while Ether, Solana, XRP and Zcash funds also pulled in fresh capital.
Bitcoin traded down 0.6% to $85,814.4 by 09:42 ET on Wednesday. It had risen past $87,000 earlier in the session. The pullback came even as ETFs kept absorbing institutional cash. The inflows are reinforcing the sharp reversal from last week's heavy redemptions.

Strategy buys more bitcoin as Trump-Xi summit looms
Crypto markets were also encouraged by Strategy Inc disclosing more bitcoin purchases this week. Focus this week is squarely on a summit between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Washington, though the meeting is unlikely to carry direct ramifications for crypto.
Ether traded 1.4% lower to $2,721.19. XRP edged down 0.5%, tracking bitcoin's pause.
