Traders who poured $993 million into a leveraged Nasdaq-100 ETF on Friday watched it fall sharply on Monday. The Nasdaq-100 itself lost 1.39%, extending the struggle in tech stocks at the start of November.

The ProShares UltraPro QQQ (TQQQ) closed down 4.11% on Monday, after it failed to hold its initial gains. The fund aims to provide three times the daily performance of the Nasdaq-100.

The Nasdaq-100 fell 1.39% on the day, a punishing start to November for investors who tried to buy the dip in technology stocks last month.

Friday's inflow was TQQQ's biggest haul in a single day since about $1 billion arrived on April 7, 2025, according to FactSet data. It was the fund's largest daily inflow in more than a year and a half.
