Morgan Stanley disclosed new positions in three XRP ETFs and a larger stake in Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings' SPAC partner through a Q2 2026 regulatory filing. The move follows a similar disclosure from JPMorgan Chase a day earlier, while XRP trades near $1.01.
Morgan Stanley disclosed XRP exposure through three exchange-traded funds in a 13F filing for Q2 2026 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The bank also increased its stake in Armada Acquisition Corp II, the SPAC partner of Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings.
Morgan Stanley Expands XRP ETF Holdings
Morgan Stanley is an investment bank with over $1.9 trillion in its investment portfolio. It disclosed 6,715 shares in the Franklin XRP ETF (XRPZ). The filing also showed 255 shares in the REX-Osprey XRP ETF and 67 shares in the Bitwise XRP ETF.
The bank had held Grayscale XRP ETF (GXRP) and Volatility Shares XRP ETF positions in Q1 2026. It also disclosed 50,540 shares in Armada Acquisition Corp II. The Evernorth stake follows JPMorgan Chase's disclosure a day earlier of holdings in the Bitwise XRP ETF, Grayscale XRP ETF, and Evernorth Holdings' SPAC.
XRP Price Holds Near $1.01
Spot XRP ETFs saw $2.25 million in inflows on Thursday, while Bitcoin ETFs continued to record redemptions. Bitwise XRP ETF was the only fund to record inflows that day.
SoSoValue data showed XRP ETFs recorded $1.51 million in cumulative inflows since launch. However, total assets under management dropped to $942.25 million after surpassing $1.25 billion earlier, despite the institutional interest from Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan.
XRP traded sideways around $1.01 over the past 24 hours, with a low of $0.998 and a high of $1.01. Trading volume fell 22% over the same period.
Futures Open Interest Splits
Coinglass data showed XRP futures open interest decreasing 1.23% to $2.69 billion. Yet futures open interest on CME rose 1.84% in just an hour.
