Morgan Stanley's MSBT fund has pushed its Bitcoin holdings past $609 million after a fourth straight day of inflows. The fund gained $62.2 million over the past 20 trading days, even as BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF recorded outflows on the same day.
Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin holdings have surpassed $609 million after the bank kept buying into the asset through its MSBT fund. The fund has continued to expand its position as customer demand keeps inflows steady.
According to data from Arkham Intelligence, Morgan Stanley's MSBT fund kept attracting steady inflows despite unstable Bitcoin market conditions. The firm bought about $3.8 million worth of BTC on Friday, marking its fourth consecutive day of inflows.
The fund has recorded total inflows of $62.2 million over the past 20 trading days. Notably, the fund did not register a single day of outflows during an 11-day stretch within that period, suggesting the fund is rapidly gaining a foothold in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
BlackRock still maintains dominance in the Bitcoin investment sector, but its Bitcoin ETF recorded a negative performance during its latest daily trading session. Unlike Morgan Stanley, BlackRock recorded about $19.2 million in Bitcoin outflows on the same Friday.
This divergence has stirred speculation that Morgan Stanley kept accumulating Bitcoin while major institutional firms saw investors pull capital.
