Solana rose 1.40% to $76.47 and held a higher-low structure above key support heading into the weekend. US spot Solana ETFs recorded zero net inflows on August 7, with total assets near $870 million. A confirmed break above $90 could open a path toward the psychological $100 level.

Solana rose 1.40% to $76.47 over 24 hours, outperforming Bitcoin as institutional accumulation strengthened demand. The token crossed a downward trendline while holding a higher-low pattern near its key support, a structure that keeps bullish momentum intact into the weekend.

Resistance sits between $75 and $90, with SOL currently trading inside that broad supply range. A confirmed break above $90 could open a path toward the psychological $100 level.

Bitcoin, meanwhile, rose to over $65,000, while Ethereum traded close to $1,920 and XRP near $1.03. Political uncertainty continues after the Senate postponed its CLARITY Act vote until September, following lawmakers' departure for their planned summer recess.

US Solana ETFs See Zero Inflows as Assets Near $870 Million

US spot Solana ETFs registered no fresh inflows on August 7, according to SoSoValue. Total assets stood at $869.97 million, equal to 2.02% of Solana's market capitalization. Combined trading value reached $40.63 million, while historical net inflows held steady at $1.15 billion.

Bitwise's BSOL dominated the category with $594.45 million in assets and $27.48 million traded. Fidelity's FSOL followed in second place at $125.41 million, and Grayscale's GSOL ranked third at $96.81 million. All listed products recorded zero daily inflows, though most funds posted market-price gains exceeding 1.6% during the session.

Solana Price Outlook Signals Possible Rally Toward $80

SOL traded near $76.62 after extending its recovery within a rising four-hour channel, with the latest session adding 0.24%. Since recovering the $72 support level, the token has gradually climbed above $75 and consolidated its short-term structure.

A breakout past $78 may open the way to the psychological $80 level, and further momentum could extend the move to $82. The Relative Strength Index reads 71.14, marginally inside overbought territory, while the MACD line remains above its signal line with a positive histogram — though momentum appears to be smoothing out.

Solana needs to hold above $76 to maintain its short-run upward pattern, with the next support near $75 at the lower boundary of the rising channel. A drop below $75 would nullify the short-term gains and open the door to $74, with deeper losses risking a retest of the $72 support.
