Uniswap Labs launched Pools.trade on Aug. 5, a memecoin launchpad on Robinhood Chain where every completed token settles into a permanently locked Uniswap v4 pool. Early trading centered on two new tokens, FRONG and POOLS, while UNI extended a rally that has cut exchange supply and lifted the price.

Uniswap Labs opened Pools.trade on Aug. 5, moving the decentralized exchange developer directly into memecoin creation on Robinhood Chain. Every completed launch ends in a Uniswap v4 liquidity pool, and each token starts with a fixed supply of one billion.

Two launch routes lock liquidity immediately

Pools.trade supports a Crowd Launch and an Instant Launch, and both create one billion tokens with permanently locked liquidity. A Crowd Launch runs for four hours and fills bids gradually, but the token becomes tradable only once the process reaches a $10,000 launch valuation; bidders get refunds otherwise.

An Instant Launch starts immediately on a bonding curve with no minimum graduation requirement. Uniswap charges no separate launchpad fee, applying a standard 0.25% liquidity-provider fee. Creators may also activate a 0.05% fee on each trade.

Robinhood Chain already draws heavy DEX trading

Robinhood opened its public mainnet on July 1, with Uniswap serving as a primary public liquidity protocol. At the time of review, DefiLlama recorded $519.97 million in 24-hour DEX volume on Robinhood Chain and a stablecoin market capitalization of $597.51 million, while Uniswap itself held about $69.75 million in protocol value. However, seven-day DEX volume had fallen 32.81% from the preceding period, showing early activity has not climbed in a straight line.

UNI rallies while token claims need scrutiny

Santiment Intelligence reported that UNI's exchange supply fell 15.7% over one month while the token rose about 47% since the start of July, with early attention concentrating on the new FRONG and POOLS tokens. A separate CoinGecko snapshot placed UNI near $4.07, up 30.8% over 30 days, with a market capitalization near $2.54 billion.

Santiment said the rally "may not be over", citing rising prices alongside falling exchange balances. Exchange withdrawals do not necessarily signal reduced selling pressure, since they can also reflect custody changes or transfers between venues.

Uniswap said it had not independently reviewed or verified any token displayed on the platform, and the official announcement did not identify FRONG or POOLS as endorsed. Completed launches, retained liquidity and creator fee activity will show whether Pools.trade's early rush turns into lasting volume.
