US spot Solana ETFs booked their best day on record on September 25, pulling in $80M to $87M in net inflows across the category. Bitwise's staking-enabled BSOL fund took roughly two-thirds of the haul, extending its grip on a category that has now crossed $1.6 billion in cumulative inflows.
US spot Solana ETFs posted $80M to $87M in net inflows on September 25, more than doubling the previous single-day record of $33.5M set in August. Weekly inflows reached $181M, a sign the surge capped a sustained multi-week buying trend rather than a one-off spike.
Cumulative net inflows across all US spot Solana ETFs have now crossed $1.6 billion, with total assets under management sitting between $1.8 billion and $1.96 billion.
Bitwise's BSOL keeps running away with the category
Bitwise's staking-enabled BSOL fund attracted about $55.7M of the day's inflows, roughly two-thirds of the total. Since launching on October 28, 2025, BSOL has captured around 80% of cumulative inflows, translating to roughly $1.22 billion of the category's $1.6 billion total.
Grayscale's GSOL trailed with about $18.5M on the day. Fidelity's FSOL and Morgan Stanley's MSOL contributed smaller amounts.
Staking sets the funds apart
These funds don't just track SOL's price. They stake the underlying tokens on the Solana network, giving institutions a return on top of price appreciation that Bitcoin ETFs structurally cannot offer. SOL was trading near $120 during the record inflow period, a recovery from earlier volatility that still leaves the token well below its all-time highs.
What the flow trajectory signals
Total assets under management between $1.8 billion and $1.96 billion puts the category in a range where it starts to matter for portfolio construction, and breaching the $2 billion mark could draw in buyers who were waiting for the category to mature. Bitwise's 80% share of cumulative inflows still leaves room for the category to shift: if Grayscale, Fidelity, or Morgan Stanley adjust their fee structures or staking strategies, competition among the funds could intensify.
For now, BSOL's dominance means Bitwise is effectively setting the terms for how institutional Solana exposure gets packaged and sold in the US market.
