XRP rose 2.7% in 24 hours to $1.28 and Zcash gained 7.3% as crypto rebounded on Nov. 3. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana also finished firmer, but uncertainty around the U.S. midterm elections still weighs on the market.
XRP and Zcash stood out on Tuesday as cryptocurrencies recovered, with XRP at $1.28, up 2.7% over 24 hours. Zcash rose 7.3% to $1,227.25 over the same period.
Still, XRP is down 3.4% over seven days, and Zcash is down 5.7%. According to the Motley Fool, many cryptocurrencies remain significantly down from their early fall highs and momentum remains fragile.
Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana firm after a volatile session
Bitcoin rose 1.49% to $77,828.21, Ethereum rose 1.98% to $2,293.77, and Solana rose 2.03% to $93.70. The three coins were firmer in early evening even after a volatile session.
Broader markets also regained some footing. The Nasdaq finished 0.83% higher, recovering alongside semiconductor stocks after concerns about artificial intelligence infrastructure spending and elevated valuations fueled a recent sell-off.
Bitcoin ETF outflows precede the rebound
Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum funds were mostly higher alongside the coins. The iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF rose 1.61%, the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund 1.62%, and the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF 2.05%.
That followed consecutive days of spot outflows in Bitcoin ETFs, with $399 million leaving on Monday after $643 million on Friday.
Midterm elections draw investor attention
Attention now turns to the U.S. midterm elections, which could influence expectations around fiscal spending, artificial intelligence regulation and digital asset policy. The results may help resolve some uncertainty, and investors will be watching how the political landscape affects risk appetite heading into 2027.
