US-listed spot Ether and XRP ETFs saw their multi-day inflow streaks end on Wednesday, while Bitcoin funds reversed course with a $101.2 million rebound a day after their steepest single-day outflow since late July. BlackRock's IBIT drove most of the Bitcoin gains, while Grayscale's ETHE and GBTC kept bleeding capital.
US-listed spot Ether and XRP exchange-traded funds broke their inflow streaks on Wednesday, even as Bitcoin funds swung back into positive territory. The reversal split crypto ETF flows in opposite directions on the same trading day.
Ether and XRP funds break their streaks
Spot Ether ETFs recorded $48 million in net outflows on Wednesday, ending 12 consecutive trading days of inflows that had brought in $1.62 billion, according to SoSoValue data. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led the outflows with $53.4 million, while Fidelity's Ethereum Fund (FETH) lost $26.2 million and Grayscale's Ethereum Staking ETF (ETHE) shed $23.5 million. BlackRock's staked Ether ETF (ETHB) partially offset the withdrawals with about $53 million in net inflows.
Meanwhile, spot XRP ETFs posted $7.2 million in net outflows, ending an 11-session inflow streak that had brought in about $170 million and lifted cumulative XRP ETF inflows to about $1.68 billion. The outflow came entirely from a Bitwise offering, Crypto Briefing reported.
Bitcoin funds rebound
Bitcoin ETFs moved the opposite direction, drawing $101.2 million on Wednesday after $236.5 million in net outflows a day earlier. That prior-day exodus was the largest single-day outflow since late July, according to Crypto Briefing. BlackRock's IBIT led the rebound, attracting $115.45 million on its own, more than the entire day's net total.
Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust added $30.42 million, Morgan Stanley's MSBT contributed $7.3 million and Bitwise's BITB brought in $4.19 million, while Fidelity's FBTC recorded zero net flows. Grayscale's legacy GBTC, however, shed $56.21 million as outflows continued.
The shift in flows came as crypto prices declined, with Ether leading losses over the past seven days, down 3.4%, followed by XRP at 2.4% and Bitcoin at 1.3%, according to CoinGecko. At the time of publication, the three assets traded at $2,407, $1.36 and $77,744, respectively.
