Franklin Templeton's XRP ETF, XRPZ, pulled in $3.5 million in net inflows on Sept. 16 even as XRP suffered a sharp selloff tied to a failed Senate vote on the CLARITY Act. XRPZ was the only XRP fund to post positive flows that day, and it has now accumulated roughly $483 million in net inflows since launch.

Franklin Templeton's XRP exchange-traded fund pulled in roughly $3.5 million in net inflows on Sept. 16, according to SoSoValue data that put the precise figure at $3.5013 million. XRPZ was the only XRP fund to record positive flows that day, and the fund has now accumulated roughly $483 million in net inflows since launch.

Franklin stays the steady buyer among XRP funds

Separate CoinGlass data for the prior session showed XRP ETFs pulled in $2.73 million in net inflows on Wednesday, with the entire amount attributed to Franklin's XRPZ. There were no net flows recorded on Sept. 15, but XRP ETFs attracted $8.40 million on Sept. 14. The funds then saw no net inflows or outflows on Sept. 11, before Franklin accounted for all of the $3.69 million in net inflows recorded on Sept. 10.

Earlier in the month, XRP ETFs attracted approximately $8.67 million on Sept. 9, including $6.57 million into Bitwise's product and another $2.11 million into Grayscale's XRP fund. Franklin has been one of the most consistent sources of fresh XRP ETF demand during September.

XRP drops after the Senate blocks the CLARITY Act

The fresh inflows stand out because they came against a sharp selloff in XRP. The token plunged after the U.S. Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act on Sept. 15, when the procedural motion fell short of the 60 votes required to move the legislation forward, triggering broad risk-off selling across digital assets.

CoinGecko data shows XRP trading at roughly $1.42 on Sept. 14 before falling to around $1.28 on Sept. 15, a decline of approximately 10%. XRP then recovered modestly to around $1.30.

At the latest reading, XRP was changing hands near $1.30, with a 24-hour range of roughly $1.25 to $1.31. The token remained down about 6.7% over the previous seven days and roughly 30.1% over the past month.
