Pando Finance plans to list its spot Solana ETF in Hong Kong on October 13, the city's second fund with direct SOL exposure. It charges a 0.6% annual management fee, against 0.99% for ChinaAMC's existing product, and will not use staking, derivatives or leverage.
Pando Finance Limited plans to list its spot Solana ETF on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 13, making it the city's second investment product with direct exposure to SOL. The fund would be the asset manager's third cryptocurrency spot ETF in Hong Kong, after its spot Bitcoin and Ethereum products.
Subscriptions run from October 6 to 12, with shares priced between HK$7.80 and HK$8. Investors buy in lots of 100 shares, so the minimum entry cost is approximately HK$800 before brokerage charges and other fees.
Lower fees than ChinaAMC's Solana ETF
Pando set an annual management fee of 0.6%, and its estimated annual recurring expense ratio is 1.6%. The fund does not intend to distribute dividends.
ChinaAMC's Solana ETF, Hong Kong's first spot fund tracking the token, charges 0.99% and has a recurring expense ratio of 1.99%. Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission approved that product in October 2025.
Direct SOL exposure without staking
The fund is passive and will hold Solana through virtual asset trading platforms licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission. It can allocate up to 100% of its net asset value to SOL, measured against the CME CF Solana Dollar Reference Rate's Asia Pacific closing price.
Unlike some products, Pando's ETF will not commit its SOL to network validators, so investors get exposure to price changes without staking rewards. Its investment rules also prohibit derivatives and leverage. HashKey Exchange will execute the Solana transactions, and HashKey Custody Services will safeguard the assets.
Product documents warn of total loss
The product documents note that SOL has fallen more than 42% in a single day in 2022. They caution that investors could lose their entire investment.
