Two U.S. fund filings dated Aug. 27 and Aug. 28 listed three XRP-linked ETFs, though neither filing represents a new SEC approval. ProShares registered an unlevered XRP ETF and a 2x leveraged Ultra XRP ETF, while Morningstar Funds Trust amended a live fund that pairs S&P 500 stocks with XRP exposure.

Two filings submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission listed three XRP-linked ETFs this week, adding fresh evidence of the token's growing presence across regulated investment products. Neither document represents a new approval.

XRP traded between about $1.38 and $1.46 heading into the weekend, having recovered from a slide toward $1 earlier in August but still well below its January 2026 cycle high.

ProShares lists two ETFs with different exposure levels

ProShares Trust filed a Rule 24f-2 notice on Aug. 27 naming the ProShares XRP ETF, registered under series number S000091571, and the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF, registered as series S000091573 and traded under the ticker UXRP. Rule 24f-2 notices concern registration fees, not product approval or a ruling on XRP's regulatory status.

UXRP has traded since July 2025 and seeks twice the daily return of the Bloomberg XRP Index using futures and swaps rather than holding XRP directly. The fund charges an expense ratio of 1.67%, and market snapshots around Aug. 28 placed its assets under management between $40 million and $55 million. Because the fund targets its return for a single trading day, its performance over longer periods can depart from twice XRP's cumulative move. The unlevered ProShares XRP ETF still appears as pending on several fund-tracking services despite its series registration.

Cyber Hornet pairs XRP with the S&P 500

Morningstar Funds Trust filed a post-effective amendment on Aug. 28 covering the Cyber Hornet S&P 500 and XRP 75/25 Strategy ETF, traded under the ticker XXX, which began trading on Jan. 30, 2026. The fund assigns about 75% of its exposure to the S&P 500 and about 25% to XRP, and its equity holdings include Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon.

The fund's XRP-related allocation stood at about 25.7%, with assets under management close to $550,000 — small next to established equity or crypto ETFs. Trading began alongside sibling Cyber Hornet funds that pair the S&P 500 with Ethereum and Solana.

Spot XRP ETFs have already drawn $1.57 billion

The new filings sit against a larger backdrop: seven U.S. spot XRP ETFs had accumulated about $1.57 billion in net inflows by Aug. 24, led by Bitwise with roughly $542 million. Goldman Sachs also disclosed $86.5 million of exposure across five spot XRP ETFs in its second-quarter filing, up from none at the end of the first quarter.

XRP traders now face two September catalysts. Ripple is scheduled to release 1 billion XRP from escrow on Sept. 1, and the Senate has scheduled a cloture vote on the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act for Sept. 15, which would need 60 votes just to advance debate.
